No, the facts show that only Haney has been victorious over Loma in a close fight that many feel was a questionable win. Could Loma have been victorious over Tank 5 years ago? Maybe, maybe not. Could Loma be victorious over Tank now? Maybe, maybe not.

Should they have fought each other 5 years ago? Yes! Should they fight each other now? I don't know....

The fights happened because they were all part of the same promotional outfit at the time which was Top Rank whereas Tank is a PBC fighter. The fight is on the table now and the economics make sense. Question why is Loma rejecting a career high pay day that will allow him to retire as a multimillionaire? I am not a Garcia or Haney fan but facts are facts. I also correctly predicted Teo would beat Loma. Styles make fights

I know you respect Tank and brother believe it or not I respect and admire Loma. I think Loma is an all time great. I think Usyk will win as well and in fact I think he stops Fury.

Why should Tank and Loma not fight each other now especially as Loma would make life changing money?

Do any of us know what this life changing money amount offer is? Maybe the offer that Loma received wasn't all that much.

You say it was life altering confidently, how much was the offer??

Tank is the PPV King. The fight will be budgeted to do circa 800K-1.2 Million pay per view buys in the US which means a pot of about $100 Million USD to share in PPV and even at 30-35% B side share Loma could pocket between $20 Million to $40 Million so nothing to sniff at all. Where else can he make this type of money and don’t forget the Las Vegas gate at the MGM Grand Garden Arena or T Mobile Centre. Tank’s numbers are top notch.

lol.... Sorry bro, but Tank isn't a PPV king. His last fight didn't do well. His last opponent was only guaranteed $500k plus PPV sales but sales were low. I've heard the sales were anywhere between 90k to 150k and that's with Benavidez co headlining.

I can't imagine Loma being offered a guarantee of over 1 million but I'm open to hearing about factual figures from you.

Tank is the PPV King. 1.2 Million PPV buys in modern times against B side Ryan Garcia says it all.

Yes, Fran Martin with Benavidez as co headliner. Why would a PPV king need a co headliner? What other PPV kings have ever needed a co headliner??

Not trying to knock Tank as he is the biggest name in the lighter divisions, but Loma isn't a Ryan type name that will help Tank get the same amount of buys as Ryan would.

That 1.2 Million buys had a lot to do with Ryan, that wasn't Tank by himself. Neither Tank nor Ryan can get close to that number without each other. Both their numbers after that fight prove it. Tank had Benavidez as a co headliner against Frank Martin and the PPV numbers were bad for a co headlining PPV event.

Point being is that you don't know what this life changing offer is that was made to Loma. You're dreaming if you think Loma will get $20-30 million, I doubt Loma makes 8 million to fight Tank. I don't think Loma will be guaranteed more than 2 million.

Besides speculating can you give a factual financial amount that PBC offered Loma? Yes, Loma turned down an offer but we don't know why. Facts are that Tank avoided fighting Loma a few years back and just recently Loma turned down a Tank fight, but we don't know if the fight gets made in a few months.

As for current PPV king, if there is one, I'd say it's Ginger. Ginger's last 2 PPV numbers against nobodies did over half a million each without a co headliner. He's a bigger draw than Tank is currently and I doubt that changes anytime soon.

Not saying it will do the same numbers but it will do very well and give Loma his highest pay day by a considerable margin and set him up for life financially. It may not be a fashionable thing on this site but having been involved in the game I want fighters to make as much money as possible.

Yeah but he can’t crack 1 million PPV buys like Tank has in recent times.

PBC work on percentages. Figures were not exchanged as when overtures were made Loma quit .
