Retire. You ended Wlad’s historic reign and dominated Wilder in a trilogy. Then fought two really good fights against Usyk. Nothing left to prove. I don’t think he’ll be motivated by Joshua at this point. And that’s not good.
This is the last we have seen from him. He will not be able to handle the fact he's not the best fighter of the era. It's even worse when you have trained and worked so hard for 3 months and still fallen short, I believe he mentioned he hadn't spoken to his wife and kids for three months and he was fully focused on the job and he would not be doing any clowning in this fight. He still fell short. Mentally it will be hard for him to be motivated again. I hope he doesn't go off the rails with drugs, drinking again.
How is he washed? He likely beats anyone else not called Usyk. He fought well tonight but just came up short. I had it 115-113 Usyk. General consensus seems to be the score cards were too wide in Usyk’s favour.
He can still fight AJ and rematch Ngannou for nice pay days. Even though they are both past it the Fury AJ fight does interest me.
Don't think we will see him again. This was a 190 million purse where fury gets 45%. 85 million just for this fight. He just doesn't seem motivated. He has money for all the debauchery he can handle. Now he can drink, drugs, and ***** all he wants.
Usyk is older and much smaller. You were popping off before the fight how Fury was gonna do this and do that lmao. Where's that bravado now?
I picked usyk to win by 8 round stoppage? I said one week ago I favoured Fury to troll, but I have been quite consistent that usyk is the favourite Fury is rubbish, win means little imo
It is. But AJ-Wilder is years later but it would still do decent, maybe good business. Fury should fight a top 10 he feels he can beat, then cash out vs. AJ... if he's motivated.
That'd be interesting. He could decision Zhang, who has the stamina of a 60 year old fat man, but one huge shot from Zhang might scramble his brain and turn his lights out. I kind of doubt he could survive Zhang's power at this stage of his career. He's made his money and had his time on top of the division, so probably best to hang up the gloves.
