He ain't making $100 mill a fight again.... Total prize purse for this fight was $190 million and it was a historic rematch after first undisputed HW since Lennox against one of the 3 big names in the division. Usyk is the best but still not a mega draw. He already made the most money he ever will between AJ and Fury fights. He isn't getting anywhere near $100 mill against Dubois, Parker, Zhang, Kabayel. Those fights aren't drawing anywhere near AJ or Fury fights even if Usyk now will command the big majority of any purse.

He has nothing left to prove but he could quite easily go on for another 3 years I don’t see any of the current crop getting near him.

He doesn't look like he has decline. If there are big money fights, why not continue.

    Quality > quantity

Name 20 HW careers better than

    Fury x2
    AJ x2
    Dubois
    Chisora

    + undisputed

Even if you don't think he's done enough @ HW which is fair he is minimum top 2 @ CW and his CW resume is the best ever by far. Holyfield doesn't have his resume of cruisers.

No the division is absolutely awful, he might as well collect free money and convince guys who know nothing, that he could he hang with true greats

    Usyk v Parker.

That's a great legacy fight - a world champ scalp, 4th best of his generation scalp, payday for both, what's not to love?

He has nothing left to prove. I’m a big fan and love watching him fight, but I honestly think this may be the perfect time for him to retire on top. But if he continues fighting, I’ll keep watching and rooting for him of course.

He just went 4-0 in the only big money fights the division has lol.... There isn't gonna be another HW superstar from the new crop emerging in the next couple years. Certainly nowhere near the names of AJ and Fury (or probably even Wilder). An AJ VS Fury fight in 2025 is drawing more money than Usyk against anyone else TBH.

If he wants to carrying for financial reasons then fair enough.

But otherwise i as a boxing fan would like to see him retire healthy, wealthy, with all his little grey cells intact and a record to truly be proud of.

Mr Usyk retire at the top.

If Dubois wins against Parker and does it convincingly. I think the Saudi will throw big money his way for the undisputed matchup. Saudi money is a different story. It doesn't have to make sense. It is what Turki wants to see.

Why would he quit? He just made $90 million for 36 minutes of work. He's in the drivers seat now and will get the lion share against any opponent going forward.

I think you have missed the boat spectacularly. He only needed 7 fights. He has done what guys like Larry Holmes could not do in 20 defenses.

I wasn't able to watch the fight unfortunately but my opinion on this is if he wants to continue fighting, then he should. Probably won't get this pay day again but can still find people to fight and get paid well for doing so. All this talk of legacy doesn't really matter imo though because if he loses, you can always say he was past his prime.. and I don't think he would keep fighting if he got a beatdown.. not like he's gonna be Ali out there.

I don't believe in most fighters tarnishing their legacy by losing because frankly, that's what is supposed to happen.. Does it help to go undefeated? Sure but you're going to remember the career defining wins more than a loss a he has 3 years from now. At least that's how I would look at it

    I think so yes.

Hes going to lose to someone he shouldnt, and tarnish his legacy. For what? Money? He lives like a king already and has generational wealth as it is. He can retire and get money in other ways, while his legacy lives forever.

Hes already beaten everyone there is to beat. Who else is he going to beat that history is really going to care about anyway.

    He should retire undefeated.
