Once TR go to DAZN I imagine that their shows will be worldwide exclusive so no more overseas action on Sky Sports. Couple that with Boxxer’s contract being up, are boxing’s premier British network exiting the sport completely? I wouldn’t be surprised if they and Boxxer go women’s boxing exclusive and tick another huge box. One way or the other it will be very sad to see them go.

To be honest I doubt many people watched Top Rank shows on Sky anyway. What was the last good one they did?

Would be a strange time for them to leave, the pathway is clear for them now if they had a plan and invested wisely

There isn't any other pathway, all roads lead to DAZN it would seem. Not saying that's a good thing, but they are throwing money around and all the big shows are on there. It's clearly Turki's preference aswell. Top Rank will follow Matchroom, Golden boy, Queensbury and Wasserman.

You can safely count on Top Rank signing with DAZN.

Sky will probably just show the 'big fights' on PPV every few months, and just do one off shows, like AJ and Fury next year they would wanna show, and Turki wants as many eyes as possible hence why all 3 channels in the UK offer Saudi cards on PPV.

They've put over £32m into Boxxer over the last few years and it's largely been a disaster. Ben "Eddie-From-Temu" Shalom has very much turned out to be not the man for the job.

They're not going to put more money into him. Aside from the lack of results, they probably don't want to fuel any more newspaper stories about Boxxer people running round with bags of cash for people who have previously been convicted of fixing major sports events.

Boxxer HAD a huge opportunity with Sky. They don't anymore. It's DAZN or bust for them. They'll literally be back to small hall if they can't get a rescue package from DAZN.

Plus, loads of their fighters have contract clauses allowing them to exit their deal with Boxxer if a Boxxer isn't on Sky. So their main names will be able to move to a proper promoter, so then what would DAZN even need Shalom for?

Just wait until the current 183 DAZN UK subscribers see the April increase - got to be a Peter Crouch one with all the new signings.

Being one of the 183 above, I will be leaving should the April price increase go higher than £19.99 for a 12 month subscriber.

It might be possible to imagine a model where Sky keeps the U.K. rights to Boxxer's cards while DAZN gets the worldwide rights.
