Ali on points. Would be interesting to see how Usyk would do with someone who is faster than him. He's always used to having the speed advantage.

Sergio Mora said in the post fight that Jai Opetia would give Usyk some problems which is interesting being that he is also a Cruiserweight who is faster and younger than Usyk. More power too.

You need to stop there son.

Since you're not acquainted with the facts, we can't really expect much by way of opinion from you.

He could very well be in the top 10 or just outside it.

I don't know how this would go, but I'm very sure that the extra 10 lbs has wouldn't make the difference in his favour. He put that on to contend with 250+ lbs giants, against someone where speed and workrate is the big things rather than power I don't think he would need it.

I think CW Fury is the one who would fare best against Ali. Perhaps not against Chisora, AJ, Dubois and Fury, but Ali was a different animal from them.

As a wise man on here once said, usyk is better at slipping to the inside than the outside.

This is why hes made the bigger guys look like amateurs. His style thrives vs bigger men. He’s had trouble with shorter guys like briedis & chisora where he has to slip to the outside. An incredible feat that he was as great a cruiser as he was.

George foreman said not long ago that the perfect heavyweight will always be around 6’2 & 210lbs. Eventually at the elite level the extra size is not beneficial.

It is for this reason for me, that pre-suspension muhammad ali is still the highest level a heavyweight has reached.

Lets be real here, usyk is 37/38 & looks fast fighting 270lb super heavys. Prime ali at 24/25 would likely make usyk look slow

Usyk is a great fighter. He can hang with the greatest fighters of all time for sure.

But so could Joey Maxim. And that’s no insult.

what we might be seeing with Usyk is how classic heavyweight’s of the past might fare under modern times.

Mildenberg and Dunn were skilled southpaw's and considered technicians.
That Didn't help them at all.
Usyk has never seen anyone close to prime Ali.

LOL comparing one mid contender and one regional fighter to an ATG fighter like Usyk is actually insane but sure man whatever you say.........

In that era, a fighter as limited as Usyk would be a mid-contender,
or regional fighter. But you're welcome to make him an ATG
    if you choose to.
