That ko power developed through sheer hard work and one of the most intense training regimes ever.

Yes he was clearly born a murderous puncher. However he is a great example of hard work beats talent.

Terrible pick imo, Marciano was one of the most physically blessed men to ever step in the ring. It was like he was forged by a blacksmith to beat people's asses. Probably the best combination of power, chin and stamina ever beneath 190

Does Billy Graham count? Or was he fast enough to not count?

    Claude Noel.

But still won a world title when he outpointed a listless Gato Gonzales to annex the vacant WBA 135 lb. title.

    Art Frias

The man who dethroned Noel with a one punch ko. He was not usually a puncher.

There was a game of hot potato played with the WBA title while Arguello held firm to the WBC strap.

He had good hand speed too when he wasn't gassing. He was outlanding Saad and Spinks early.

I was more thinking to what people from his time said including Charlie Goldman who stated he never had much natural ability but made up for it with sheer determination and work ethic.

But considering I said...like outstanding or special abilities, that power was something,he was all awkward but boy he could punch.

I often think of Alan Minter in this light. He doesn’t look overly athletic but the dude could fight

Good enough, what about Mustafa Hamsho then? Was he too much of a puncher to enter here?
