Do you still view Fury as an all time Head to Head fighter?

It wasn’t long ago that, despite Fury's relatively thin record, he was still viewed as an all-time great head-to-head fighter. His mobility and skill at his size were believed to pose significant trouble to any past heavyweight great.

Now that he has lost twice to a much smaller man, do you still consider him an all-time great H2H fighter?

    Absolutely.
He comfortably beat Wlad away from home.
Fairly comfortably beat Wilder away from home.
Has a bunch of other impressive wins.

Gave Usyk 2 good fights. Usyk is probably one of the best boxers ever

Yes. He is excellent fighter. Very smart, very skilled. His recuperative abilities are among the greatest of all time, as well as his heart. His biggest flaw is lack of discipline, other than that he doesn't have visible weaknesses.

As for his stakes going down after losing to Usyk twice. Well, George Foreman and Sonny Liston are still considered among the greatest H2H heavyweights of all time despite being completely outclassed by Muhammad Ali. There is no shame in losing to genius

He needed to beat Usyk twice to prove he was the greatest but he failed Usyk beating a quick fighter with that kind of height and reach advantage is the greatest acheivement in heavyweight history and I`m not sure any other heavyweight as small as Usyk could achieve the same thing, the bigger heavyweights would have fared better, specifically Holmes who had 81 inch reach which while being 4 inches smaller than Fury`s might not have hindered Larry because his jab was insane, I don`t think any other heavyweight in history could have out-jabbed Fury, Usyk landed more straight lefts than jabs which worked for him. There`s very few heavyweights if any that were as slippery or as quick as Usyk so Fury`s in the mix head to head, probably top 5 and certainly top 10 head to head.

Foreman wasn`t out-classed v Ali, he just punched himself out in the heat, Ali was not up on the scorecards when he stopped Foreman.

He nearly got sparked by Wilder and made him gas in their third fight by grabbing him and putting all his weight on Wilder`s chicken legs.

    Absolutely.

When we look back on Fury's level, one name will decisively show just how good he was: Derek Chisora. Chisora could beat rank 5-10 guys and would ALWAYS rough up rank 1-5 guys, except one. The fact that he pushed Vitali and Usyk to where they didn't want to go and couldn't get anything going in 3 fights with Fury is a huge credit to Fury.

Add to that dethroning Vlad in Germany by using a slick boxing style.

Destroying Wilder in America as a come forward puncher.

Had the only lengthy success against Usyk in Usyk's entire career.

A handful of solid B level wins.

Fury has shown that he can win in a variety of ways. He can survive just about anything. He has extremely high boxing IQ. I'm not a fan of "one fight mythical prime" fighters, but the Fury that showed up for Wilder II is a tough task for most head to head.

Imagine what Ali would have done to the Big Dosser.

Well, top 20-25 HW. Is that an ATG?

As far as I'm concerned he has no signature all time wins. Wlad was finished. Wilder is constantly mocked here and he knocked Fury down 4 times if I'm not wrong. He lost twice to a man who he outweighed by 60 pounds! Chiisora, Sefer, Wallin, Scwartz are all C to D level. Never fought, in fact deliberately avoided his main nemesis AJ.

Certainly has some good skills especially for someone his size.

I reckon he outclasses Muhammad Ali and Lennox Lewis but gets duffed up by Ngannou and John McDermott.

    Do me a favour.

I do kind of hope that Fury retires now. Discipline was never his strong point and I don’t see him aging well due to his lifestyle. He’s already past his peak.
