Oleksandr Usyk vs Muhammad Ali primes

If Usyk is such a great finisher why is his k o percentage around 50% and Ali's over 65% especially when the former has only 23 fights and the latter had 61 fights, including around 10 when he was washed?

 

I wouldn’t preclude Ali perhaps KO’ing or stopping Usyk in the later rounds.

Ali cracked some very solid chins on the big fight occasions - included the never before and never since KO’d Bonavena and Foreman.

I have Ali ahead of Usyk all time but the size of the men Usyk has fought compared to Ali, likely plays a role in that.

It's not exactly easy to KO a 270+ lbs man as we've seen.

 

And people forget Usyk has hurt every heavyweight opponent he has fought

 

Imagine people having a different opinion and not just repeating the same exact talking points of how much better old fighters were and how bad modern fighters are

 

Your opinion is worth less than dirt if you think there are eras he wouldn't be a top ten guy. You might know a lot of fighters, but you can't assess talent and ability for ****.

Maybe because it's not true Usyk has a 50% KO rate. It's 60. 3 days ago it was 63.63% which was a whopping 2.44% less than Ali.

but unlike you I can articulate my reasons and point
of view because of my knowledge of the sport as
a participant, student, and trainer, and history of over 50 yrs
of combat sports.
Guys like you get aggressive and claim someone
lacks knowledge , but you can't explain why your
opinions is different, so you go to the next best thing,
attack someone else's credibility. It's the barking
dog syndrome,
Its a sign of a very weak mind.
