Holyfield had similar attributes to Usyk and beat Tyson. Similar height and weight not a big puncher and vulnerable to the body.

Usyk has also faced guys with Tysonesque traits. Is Dubois not quick and a huge puncher?

Holyfield and Usyk fight nothing alike. Almost the opposite as fighters. Holyfield was not a Foreman but he sat down in his punches and he could bang.

Evander bullied Mike on the inside and beat him down.

Usyk does not possess those attributes.

    They are completely different fighters.

Daniel Dubois shares zero traits with Mike.

    That’s an absolutely bizarre comparison.

What's to stop him from using Holyfields tactics?

Daniel Dubois has a awesome offense, tremendous power, good hand speed, aren't those some of the traits that made Tyson so dangerous?

Part of what makes Tyson so effective is the combination of power speed and varied punch selection

No, it was originally presented as a very impressive resume, and I gave the context.

Tyson's opponents were drug addicts whose careers had already flamed to ground.

    “Usyk has nothing for Mike”

    LOL!!! Wow…

Nothing for Mike other than being PFP a top 5 ****ing fighter of all time who happens to be 6’3 and 220lbs that moves as fluid as anyone in history.

“mIKe wOuLd gO tO thE boDy!!!”

Ok… And a fighter of Usyk’s caliber would no doubt know that and prepare accordingly! Also Mike’s power wears down after the first 4-5 rounds and he becomes less dangerous as the fight goes on. At that point that’s when Usyk would go on the offensive. Pop Mike nonstop with his underrated jab. Hit Mike from angles he’s never been hit from before and basically wear Tyson the **** out before pouring it on the last two rounds and possibly get the stoppage.

Go ahead and say Usyk “Doesn’t have the power to keep Mike off him”:lol::lol: Most have learnt that lesson by now but you seem like the type who hasn’t. I don’t know… just a hunch.

“B.. bUt Usyk CAn’T fIGHt ON THe inSIdE” lol He wouldn’t be trying to!!! WTF… Usyk would actually enjoy being the taller fighter in this one and use his reach and range and play that game. He’d probably consult another ATG Ukrainian in Dr Steelhammer, His friend, to work with him for this one and give him as many pointers as possible to take full advantage on the five inch reach advantage he’d have over your boy.

“uSYk wouLD HAve NoThIng FoR MIke!!!”
    :wanker:wanker:wanker:wanker

Nothing. Riiiiiggt. Other than being the greatest HW southpaw in the history of the sport. And how many elite southpaws did Captain Lisp fight in his illustrious career again??????

Usyk by UD in the 116-112 ballpark. Competitive by clear.

    UDKSAB

    “Usyk has nothing for Mike”…..

    You absolute &$%# %#@? :headbash:headbash:headbash

“Dubois shares zero traits with Mike doe!!!”

And CHISORA shares zero traits with Tyson other than being deranged in the head yet you had the audacity to use Chisora as some gage when discussing this matchup!!!

    What a bizarre comparison.

Tyson, prime possibly, but after that, no.
Holyfield, could have consumed enough steroids to enlarge his head to the point of gigantism, but does not have the stamina to stay with Usyk.
Lewis, yes, too big and strong.
Ali, similar sized, as Cassius Clay maybe, but rope a dope wouldn't have worked on Usyk.
Holmes, with that jab, should win.
    Louis, yes.
Liston, with that size and power in his prime.

That being said, Usyk just defeated a 280 pound super heavy with decent skills and chin. Sure, Fury is not the greatest HW of all time, but h2h, Usyk would be competitive against all of them.

Usyk has never been hurt in the pros and suddenly he gets koed early.
Holyfield is much smarter than Usyk, a guy with 300+ amateur fights and known for his high fight IQ.

Where do you find this information?

I've already replied to this thread but after watching more footage I have a 2nd take on the Q at hand. The fact of the matter is Usyk has beaten everyone in front of him and for that he has to be rated as an ATG. Having said that, this era has been rated pretty weak in previous years & frankly I think it's even weaker than previously suspected. Wilder can't box, AJ can't box well & has a suspect chin, Fury isn't exceptionally dedicated & can't punch, and that's the best around besides Usyk. The 3 previous are seriously flawed. Then you have Zhange who's about 40.

TBH, I wouldn't be surprised if Parker down the road actually becomes the best of the lot & beats Usyk. I think he has huge upside & the Moses kid as well. He needs to be tested first but I think they are the future and if he hangs too long one of them will beat Usyk IMO.

Since when is simply being undefeated qualification for an ATG? he only has 23 fights. Everytime you step into the ring against a top opponent its a risk. He body of work is small compared to even hall of famers let alone ATG's.

They were actually ranked in the top 10 or champions at the time.
