While it is true that Usyk had dominant rounds... he also had rounds where he threw combinations of punches in which he landed one or two punches in a consistent manner... these bursts of punches were flashes that remained in the heads of the judges and the people... which is why it gave the impression that he was winning in a convincing manner... but with flashes of punches fights are not won... Fury I feel that he managed the distance most of the fight efficiently... he made adjustments to Usyk's forward steps by raising his hand... there are many of Usyk's punches that went to Fury's arms and gloves... I feel that Fury's body work although it was not as good as in the first fight... it was there... I consider that he connected a high amount of body punches during the fight but they were not very showy... Fury also connected solid and convincing punches... he was better in the cliché... and dictated the pace of the fight... I consider that people are partly deceived by the hatred of Fury... I feel that despite Usyk being a great boxer he is overrated.. he was knocked out by Dubois.. and they make him look bigger than he really is.. he is exceptional but so is Fury... and this was not even the best version of Fury.. obviously he is to blame for this but he still won. 1) 10 - 9 fury 2) 10 - 9 usyk 3) 10 - 9 fury 4)10 - 9 fury 5) 10 - 9 fury 6) 10 -9 usyk 7) 10 - 9 usyk 8) 10 - 9 fury 9) 10 - 9 fury 10) 10 - 9 fury 11) 10 - 9 usyk 12) 10 - 10 fury/usyk 116-113 fury
How did you give the 4th round to Fury Everything else is reasonable I would've gave round 8 for Usyk
Will need to rewatch but even then its difficult for me to judge , me not being a qualified referee for pro box events . My impression was that it was a touch closer than the official result but usyk was technically better and dererved to win this . Fury had good moments but his punches lacked the needed power to crack usyk .
I wonder how many of these daft threads will be started. Usyk wins it clearly. "I think Fury won because I scored any remotely close round in his favour, and even a few of the later ones he blatantly lost" Et cetera, et cetera.
Where do these demented hairbrained ****ing weirdos come from? It's like they're on autopilot and taking orders from some unseen force.
Some people make the 116-112 seem like a huge robbery but would those guys have been happy if the score was 115-113 UD win for Usyk? Would they been fine if the result was 114-114 x3 draw? What about 115-113 and 114-114 x2 draw? No, most of the Fury fans complaining would've taken anything outside Fury win as a robbery by de facto which it absolutely is not. On the three official cards, the judges scored the same for 7 rounds...4 and 5 for Fury, and 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 for Usyk. At that point it is already 5-2 Usyk, leaving 5 rounds as being debatable according to the judges. Give 3 or less rounds out of 5 to Fury and he still loses anyway. Give 4 of 5 rounds to Fury and it is still a draw so Fury doesn't win. Only if all 5 rounds were given to Fury, only then Fury wins by a borderline 115-113. Bottom line, Usyk won a close fight. To argue that Fury won literally all close rounds is the definition for rose colored glasses by fans.
Dont know how Fury "won" round 4. IIRC Round 5 was also a Usyk round, but I digress. Usyk was absolutely in control of the fight with Fury hugging in 2nd half of fight every chance he got. A draw was best outcome for Fury.
I think the fact that it was a closer fight than the first one that Usyk won with a SD but this one was an UD is making Fury fans think he got robbed, but that is more of the first fight being too close than it should've been. If anything the first one was likely biased for Fury, except the near KO down made impossible to make it a total Fury win.
How many times do we have to point out that you are a moron? https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/usyk-fails-in-full-weights.641161/ And now you are a butthurt moron.
