    Agreed.

Look I really can't stand Tyson Fury, however he would have given fits to any heavyweight with his size and agility for such a big man, yes even the greats like Ali, Frazier etc. Then there is this other falsehood about Usyks size. He is 6'3 230 lbs ffs.

    Ali 6'3
    Frazier 5'11
    Joe Louis 6'1
    Mike Tyson 5' 11

There were big guys as well like Lennox, Holmes, Foreman and the Klits, but Usyk is not tiny by any standards.

Boxing was a much bigger social deal prior to the 1990s so there are a bunch of names people know because essentially boxing was marketed better and more people cared about it. Boxers 40 years ago fought weekly/monthly in some cases so it was a "get in the ring and do what I do" often against very sub level comp. There is a lot more planning and training that goes into the sport now and the nutrition and maintenance is so far advanced now but many will always believe that boxing is the only sport ever to exist where guys 30 to 50 years ago were better than they are today.

I think if you took any top fighter of any generation and brought him into a different era...they'd still be at the top because they would assimilate into the era and train the way fighters trained in that era. Just my opinion of course.

AJ isn`t world class and I`m surprised fans are still talking about him, his losses are cringe, he has no chin and a poor defense.

Tyson and Frazier would always look human at heavyweight because of there size but Tyson had to face bigger fighters than Frazier on avverge and would have had a better chance of knocking Fury out than Frazier because he had more power, but you make a really solid point.

Hated the Wilder, Fury and AJ era.
