Jimmy Bivins vs Artur Beterbiev 12 rounds

Jimmy came in at 190lbs-ish, Artur is about the same on fight night, close in size it’s the classic puncher vs boxer match up.

 

Hmmm,if Bivins was skilled enough to make Ezzard looks so bad even for one night,I'll pick him.
Beterbiev didn't have pillow fists though,if he had it's most likely padded with Krakatoa explosives.

Bivins at his very best at 175 was getting knocked down by Charles and Marshall he just was not going to be denied. So I don't really have confidence in Beterbiev not getting him.

 

To be fair those guys were a lot better boxers than Artie - with respect.

To use a school analogy,, Bivins is a grade above Beterbiev in the skill department

 

No one who has ever met me thinks I am Scottish. And if I were Scottish, I'd likely be from Cumbernauld. Because that would be my luck.

 

Based on the Bivol fight, I would have to go with Bivins by UD.

 

Beterbiev finds Bivins eventually and breaks him down along the stretch for a late stoppage. Too much pressure, too much power, and too skilled and apt at cutting off the ring for Bivins to outbox for the full 15. Bivins would have to box a perfect fight and I don't know if he could pull it off against Beterbiev.
