Was there ever a better 1-2 knockout in the heavyweight division than when Wilder finished Stiverne with a 1-2 in the 1st round of their rematch? I do know Lewis developed a great 1-2 under the guidance of Manny Steward and he score a great 1-2 KO over Mike Weaver but how did that KO compare to Wilder blasting out Stiverne with the same combo?

Joe Louis probably had the best 1-2 in HW history. The second Pastor fight alone has so many great showcases, 4 of the 5 KDs came from the 1-2.

Lewis' 8th-round KO on Tyson. Though his "jab" looked like he just stuck his hand in front of Tyson so I'm not sure about that.

Been a while since I saw the fight but pretty sure the finishing combination of Tyson by Douglas was one of the most solid 1-2 combos I’ve ever seen landed. Apologies if I’m getting the combination wrong, but that’s what sticks out in my old memory haha.

I'm currently reading Tyson's autobiography, and I actually read the segment about this fight yesterday. Cus had actually told Mike to get to Holmes in the exact same way he ended up knocking him down. Hit him with the right after throwing the left. Pretty cool that Tyson still remembered that advice several years after Cus had died.

What's the name of the book called? I wouldn't mind reading it, thank you. I've read the old iron Mike book, watched the Michael j white movie, watched the undisputed Truth, I've seen the iron Mike series on Hulu on Disney, yet what year did this book come out? The one you're talking about

It's named the " Undisputed Truth ", published in 2013 just after the show of the same name.

The 2 came pretty slow after the one, Ali began to slow down in the late 70`s.

Hell no, it was far from the best even in Lewis' own career. He still needed to push shot Tyson after that punch to put him down. Lewis, however, had really great 1-2 against Ruddock, Weaver, Grant (2nd knockdown I believe) and especially in the rematch against Rahman. Now that 1-2 was an ATG stuff.

Wlad's 1-2 against Brock was great, Foreman's 1-2 against Moorer, Tyson vs Holmes as was mentioned above, and Joe Louis probably had more great Says than any other HW in history.

Maybe Foreman vs Moorer was most most important historically, but from aesthetic point of view my favourite 1-2 in HW history in Lewis vs Rahman in the rematch
