He’s ok. Don’t think he’s bad. He’s no roach, Rooney, hunter, Garcia etc. Someone said Tyson looked poor when Peter wasn’t with him for 2weeks, after spending years with him. If true, that’s a poor coach. it’s like if mommy trains you for 10years to go toilet then leaves you for 2weeks and it all goes wrong!!!
So if he doesn’t take on fighters, is he a coach? I don’t follow the guy. I don’t agree fury was best between Lewis and usyk. That’s a huge claim for a guy who only reigned as world champ for 3 fights lol.
Not even thought about it, but Fury reign of 3 fights is a blip in heavyweights. Or are you asking who is better than Peter fury? Who is Peter fury, what’s he done?
You've changed the question We went from talking about his defence to if he is the best fighter since a certain point
Fury’s cv is overrated. His skill and ability not so much. That’s why he lost soo many fans. Because he had the ability to dominate and clean out the division after Wlad but instead went on the drink, got fat and took the **** with his match making.
He’s asking if fury is best since Lewis. honestly speaking, to me, there are just too many people who have had similar or better hw careers as fury since Lewis. Fury has had loads of charisma which makes people forget his reign was only 3 fights and he spends more time in media than fighting. He has to be taken to court, rips ppl off from their contracts and generally is a scammer and bully. V klit W klit were both in diff leagues of reigning as kings Since Lennox, putting his charisma aside, fury champ reign is more similar to hide, Byrd, Brewster, Ibragimov, Peter, Maskaev, valuev etc. not including the AJ, wilder and usyk who have had longer reigns as champs.
Good post and I agree in terms of title defenses and resume however I would back Fury to beat most of them comfortably. There are good arguments for Wlad being a more consistent champion and also Joshua may have a stronger resume and taken tougher fights.
Had a fair bit of luck. McDermott - clear loss Wilder - plenty of refs would have waved the first one off (amazing recovery). Few long counts in there. Wallin - again, lucky not to be waved off with the cut
Fury then I guess It's not huge praise however as it's a division that's quite evenly matched in its averageness I've enjoyed it however
