When? He just made a "best is yet to come" training video about a month ago, and Malik has been lobbying for a fight in videos released in the last couple of days.

Yes. Max Schmelling won the Heavyweight title because Jack Sharkey landed a low blow. After that Max Schmelling was called the low blow Champion and the public demanded a rematch. Now Dubois landed a low blow / legit bodyshot and Usyk gets a pass. People have gone soft. Who has a better current run then Dubois anyways? If anyone deserves a title shot based off their last 3 fights it’s Dubois.

    No. Not overly interested.
It was a clear win for Usyk where he arguably won every round and stopped Dubois in a one sided bout.
I think the only thing that may hold interest to some is the unified titles but we have just had that and we know who the clear #1 is.
I can understand why Dubois team would want it though, to get monopoly on all the HW titles with just one fight

Yes, what other fight is there to make for Dubois if he beats Parker and what better fight is there out there for Usyk, (cash wise) and a chance to become 2x undisputed.

It’s boxing not a street fight. Who’s to say usyk won’t have landed the low blow first if it was a street fight?

Indeed it’s a fight. Not a game of tag.

We should have got dubious vs Zhang at the end of this year then the winner gets Usyk

I hate all these rematches at heavyweight, but Dubois will have earned that second chance if he beats Parker.

Yes, there is no one else who deserves the shot ahead of Dubois.

    This, imo.

But if he earns the chance by beating Parker, I’ve no doubt that Dubois will be looking to punch low again vs Usyk - that tactic was expressly integrated into his strategy in the first fight.

What then? If Usyk gets hit low again and repeatedly, what does the ref do and does the same contingent of fans as before somehow see that as fair - even though it quite obviously isn’t?

Dubois claimed he was “robbed” - that claim could be seen as setting himself up to punch below the belt line again. Dubois has admitted he’s willing to fight dirty as and when he sees fit.
