Expected him to retire after the Zhang fight, quite a surprise.

I think he might be fighting Charles Martin, they've been linked to each other before.

Wilder has been so lackluster and unmotivated in his last two bouts that it's tough to want to watch him again. Unless he finds some kind of motivation he is putting himself at risk as well.

The condensed form of the tile on my computer read "Deontay Wilder to ret..." and I assumed he was retiring. But alas!

    Excellent news.

if he’s fighting Charles Martin, even better. That’s a good fight

If it was a part of a Riyadh Season card, I might agree. But since apparently not, I'd be surprised if it was him.

Hope you are right because I don't want to see that.

    Charles Martin would be fine.

Or hey, maybe Andy Ruiz to determine the fourth best of the post-Klitschko, pre-Usyk era?

Ughh. Even as a Wilder fan, I won't watch him fight again. He really needs to retire.

It will be a big step down in competition I would guess to make him look competent again.

    Wilders a never-was who's getting old...

He's a potential reputation booster for the up and coming, or a sideshow act for a decent card - now the bubble's burst and most people recognize him for what he is, he's not a headliner, but that doesn't mean he doesn't add a likely knockout against a bum for entertainment value.

So back to his usual competition then.
