I wish you won’t frame things the way you do. Funny thing is I am not even a Haney fan how what I saw was a very close fight that Haney won. There was no robbery. It’s like say Usyk vs Fury 2 was a robbery against Fury which it was not. I am simply pointing out that the majority of biased views on here in Loma’s favour really don’t mean anything as the verdict does not change nor should it. I know the judges were not paid off either because Top Rank the promoters would have preferred Loma to win.

@Dynamicpuncher you are good guy and cool dude as are some others on this thread discussion but you all need to make your peace with this. You really do.

I am not his biggest fan but I have to respect him. I know Ortiz cannot beat him and not convinced Boots will.

Well said. Too many of these guys don't have the acumen or knowledge to make a fair post. It's all about wannabe 'hot takes' or posting with too much emotion. And then there's those who hate a fighter simply because of what fans say.

And don't forget Olu (African Cobra) is a known liar. Claims to be the nephew of Azumah Nelson, always referred to the mayweathers as his family, claims he played league football, AND was a barrister. He's a little kid playing make believe and compulsive liar.

Fair enough I respect your last comment we can agree to disagree about the Haney fight it was competitive for sure but I thought it was one of those competitive fights that Loma clearly won but I'm not going to harp on about it or try and change your opinion on it.

But regarding Salido I'm sorry that fight leaves a bad taste in my mouth I mean yeah sure Loma knew what he was getting into regarding Salido coming in heavy granted. But regarding the low blows I can't overlook that the referee didn't do his job and enforce the rules, and whether I like a fighter or not if I see clear bias in the ring I'm going to call it out for what it is.

I don't think Loma is unbeatable far from it but he is a fantastic fighter and a low tier great that has took risks in his career and should be commended for it not discredited for it.

If a fighter has won 15 world title fights over 3 weightclasses and never had a convincing loss at world level, I don't see how he can be deemed as "the most overrated fighter of the past decade" that for me is a bizarre take from the OP.

If he beats Canelo at 168 pounds you have to give him his flowers.

Unfortunately and I am not justifying it you get some bad referees. My point is that in his 2nd pro fight however decorated an amateur he was that he should not be thrown in with a guy like Salido who is not going to make it clean. That is why you develop a fighter as a professional however great an amateur they were. After 8 professional fights he would have been better equipped to deal with any nonsense Salido brought. So Top Rank who are usually good match makers did not do well on this one.

Yeah that is a good point TBH I'm not sure why they matched him up with Salido in all honesty especially in Texas.

I am going to give you an example with Tank. When Floyd and Mayweather Promotions were moulding him they knew he was a. Special talent and he could beat most of the contenders. However they would not rush into a fight with Loma at 130 pounds because while he had the talent and tools they needed to polish and develop the jewel. On the other hand Top Rank and Loma’s team wanted the fight against the young Tank because they knew as talented as he was, he was not yet the finished article. I was shocked that they exposed Loma to a rough house Salido like this because they usually get it right. Early I mentioned how a young Oscar De La Hoya fought and won his first world title against Jimmy Bredhal rather than fight Azumah Nelson for the WBC title as it was to risky for their star investment at that time.

Awww good to see the idiot Lance still about. I could show you my credential’s to validate myself but why bother as you don’t warrant it. That’s why I put you on ignore. I played a couple of season of rugby league football not league football idiot. If you want to challenge a person’s credentials get it right.

I posted earlier but actually I think over rated is a really poor term.

Lomachenko as a whole has under delivered, but it's not because he's been over rated, it's just the way the cookie has crumbled for him.

He had his "loss" to Salido and a win over Russell Jr but he never really distinguished himself at FW imo, his time there was very thin.

But at SFW and LW he showed how good of a talent he is. From 2016 - 2020 there's a strong argument he was the best fighter in the world the way he dazzled.

The loss against Teo halted his momentum in a big way though. He claims shoulder injury, but that's a stain on his record.

However it's a stain he really should have wiped clean when he fought Haney 2 years later but again he "lost".

Frustratingly he then dominated Kambosos and the other names started showing an interest in fighting him and he's seemingly retired now.

He isn't the goat, which is what he promised when he burst onto the scene.

But don't doubt his talent, just watch those 4 years where he set the world alight.
