No Floyd mention at all? Hate or love him the man could sell a fight well with all that trash-talk, his entire build-up to the fights of Hatton or Mosley are hilarious. That face-off with Ortiz was a classic too.
He got the vocabulary of a kid from elementary school yet everytime on socials you can read his dumb catchy phrases like "He's helluva fighter", "I made sum smart investments" lmaoo

 

For sheer charisma, I'd go with Prince Naseem, Jorge Parez, and of course, Ali.

 

He talked sh*t, he wasn't charismatic at all.

 

You have to be charismatic too to talk **** or you have stuff like 90% of the press conferences where the fighters throw corny jokes at each other that are gettin' trite.
Floyd had a thing of provin' his words with actions that could make him root for him, even if the dude is delusional and so self-absorbed to the point he can't distinguish between himself and the persona he made that can be pretty obnoxious too, ngl

 

Ray Leonard always cracked me up because he sounds like a college professor when he speaks. Still does to this day.

As far as my picks, I’m mostly with you. The over the top guys can irk me. I love Usyk’s quiet quirkiness. His limited English makes it even funnier — greedy belly? Lol.

Not really. Anyone can talk sh*t. That's just letting words out. Charisma involves a LOT more that just talking.

 

I always love listening to Ali and Foreman. Roy Jones Jr, James Toney, and Antonio Tarver more recently. Shawn Porter, David Benavidez, Terence Crawford currently.
Deontay Wilder, and Tyson Fury were also some super compelling dudes when they were in the midst of their trilogy.

 

Henry Cooper is well worth a shout out for a past fighter, too.

Completely agree. All time - Ali for sure, his personality made the sport massive especially his attitudes towards the Vietnam War. Mike Tyson although not as charismatic, had an absolutely terrifying aura around him.

ATM - Probably - Fury, however Usyk has a very unique charisma.
