Most of the Eastern Euro fighters are old school tough and don’t crave attention by announcing retirement and wanting a pat on the back.
    Kostya Tszyu never officially retired.

So what you're saying is, Golovkin vs. Tszyu is possible... :sherlock:

I think he's likely waiting for the Arab to offer him some big money fight as part of the desert circus.

Actually he did, in '05. He said in an interview that after the Hatton loss his mother Valentina Tszyu made him promise to not fight again, which he fully intended to honor no matter what offers were made.

I really don't want to see Old Man Golovkin lose to some young buck that he would have beaten like a red headed stepchild back in the day. If he's gonna fight another old dude well, then at least the playing field is level.

From what I gathered from the video it'd take a big money opponent to lure him out of retirement, and that would be a young champion.
    Don't do it

Why not? No shame in losing to Hatton especially at 35 years old and on away soil.

His Tank is empty my man. Surely you don't want to see him get hurt. He had nothing his last time out.

It was indeed a HUGE downturn from the first and second Canelo bouts, in terms of his performance. He didn't seem utterly shot, just ...nowhere close to peak Golovkin.
