If BENNY BOY had a single braincell he could mop up rn. I won't be told different. Eduardo is finito. Bricktop is on the ropes. And BENNY BOY has SKY. The undisputed FATHER of brit boxing for decades. He could make five to six signings and leave those two hand-holding pound driven scumbags in the dust.

 

Sky don’t care anymore. Smith was Shalom’s biggest supporter/handholder but with him gone, and no ready-made PPV headliners at Boxxer, nobody at Sky wants to put any money in, and they’re happy just showing the Riyadh PPVs that sell pretty well for hardly any effort on their part.

Sadly it's the other way around, SKY are not interested in boxing, Shalom is struggling, Queensberry are top dogs at the minute, Matchroom are doing big things away from the British market, DAZN signing up Queensberry and Top Rank, shows their top dogs when it comes to Boxing, plus they have the Saudi backing too it would seem. Sky and Shalom are very weak right now.

Yes its clear that they are not "investing" in the sport and lets be real the number of boxing fans interested in watching two women fight is miniscule.

With 99% of boxing viewers male. They do not have *even* have the girl power angle that other women's versions of popular men's sports have.

Except a rematch with Claressa, I have zero interest in watching Savannah tbh. But if this is 100% true and she has been messed about then its not a good look for Boxxer/Sky. But like @ash234 I'd like to hear both sides of the story before passing judgement.

 

I heard a rumour a few months back that she owed Boxxer a cut from this, and hasn’t paid up.
