the reasons why depend on who you ask. fact remains, he never fought them. bam did. even agreed 1 week before the fight to move up 2 divisions for a shot at them.
hopefully things keep going the same way, so as a fan i dont have to be explaining why bam never fought so and so, 10 years down the line.

he's one of my favorites too -- I'm also a Texan and, man, he's fun to watch. so much potential, doesn't seem to have any weaknesses. some guys are head seekers, but Bam seems like a liver seeker. he's constantly changing angle on the offense to slip in those liver shots.

i look forward to following the course of his career.

its going to take a great fighter to beat him. a hof level fighter. i dont see anypone slowing him down at 118. 122 depends on how well his body settles in at that weight. although i dont see a problem since men dont really start settling into their man body til after 24 years of age. but everyones genetics are different. if he stays healthy and focused hes gonna have an atg career. im also very excited that we finally have a fighter of this caliber again in Texas, more so my little corner of the world.

It was actually Mosquiera who supposedly came in at 131, while Rodriguez came in at a listed 126. I don't think either guy really looked like they weighed in those weights, based on that footage.

Inoue was frozen out at the time though by the four kings who kept passing around the WBC belt between each other. It was much harder for Inoue to try to lure them to fight him because they were all in their primes, were on HBO, and could fight each other for pay-days without needing to go to Japan to get bounced off the canvas. The only Bam opponent you listed who isn't a geriatric is the very average Israel Gonzalez who he had to low-blow to beat. And Bam's had opportunities to fight Junto for the last couple years now but has been very reluctant to make that fight, or to fight Ioka, or Pumita Martinez. He's been beating a bunch of smaller and washed up stars.

so i assume you predicted bam to win every time against these geriatrics. would love to read how you saw it coming so i can add your knowledge to my own. not opinions after the fight, everyone shapes events afterward, but before the fight, where the knowledgeable fans discuss.

    Bam needs more experience IMO
