I always thought Holyfield had underrated power.

Yeah, I think I’d agree that Fury is a bit underrated in that dept. Usyk also for that matter.

While many acknowledge that Norton was a good puncher I think he had a bit more pop than he is generally afforded.

Rattled Smith, Holmes, and most other guys quite a bit.

Our boy Usyk. Look a the seventh of the Chisora fight, the 10th and 12th of Joshua 2, and the 9th of Fury. The power is there when he needs it. He just rarely needs it.

Witherspoon stiffened the legs of the granite-chinned, prime, or at least near prime, Ray Mercer with a right hand in the 5th round of that fight. In the post-fight interview, Mercer said that he had never been hit like that before, and this was after he fought Lewis.

Mac Foster isnt typically brought up when discussing the hardest hitting heavyweights of all time for some reason from what ive seen, but he probably should be

We all know John L Sullivan hits hard, but he might be a historic puncher type and we just dont know it

Most casuals dont know Joe Choynski

    Those are all great picks.

Mine would be Ali - the lead right hand was fantastic, could put together amazing powerful combinations, and he had a strong left hook that we saw vs Bonavena.

Witherspoon and Usyk are both excellent picks too.

I don't think Povetkin gets mentioned enough as a puncher, but he could really punch.

Jim Coffey statistically has a higher KO rate than every notable HW except Wilder, Dubois and Bruno.

Heralds got an 100% but only had 5 wins.
