Not particularly keen on him or Jalolov, especially after they fought each other recently in a final and were tickling each other instead of fighting.

 

Can't help but get excited after watching their countrymen in the lower weight classes.

Some bad news everyone, 47 year old Italian fighting out of Thailand Heavyweight oddity Alessio Bisutti dropped a 10 round split decision to 22-5 19 KOs Nattapon Planpimai. Scores were razor close, it was for the IBF Asia heavy title so I think Bisuttis dream of getting world ranked by them is currently out of the question.

Seems like Ramirez vs Dorticos will happen before the Opetaia bout.

 

Vitaly Kudukhov subbed in on 3 days notice for Peró. Chaloyan currently cruising to a boring probable shutout.

 

Dorticos has had 1 fight in the last two years and it was a win over a 19-9 unranked fighter. How is anyone being mandated to fight him?

 

Any word on why he didn't fight Dychko?

 

Dychko & Lenier Pero may as well just get regular jobs, or just go down some sparring partner route.

Both are beyond inactive now. HW boxing would do well to have a knockout of 16 non-fighting fighters eliminate each other and 15 of them quit for good, and the winner fights for some belt.

I know there's all kinds of stuff going on behind the scenes - but that's all there is. Seriously, if not 16 then 8 ... 4 of these inactives, 2 old timers with names, 2 young emerging prospects.

 

How about Ivan Dychko 14-0 (13) v Bakhodir Jalolov 14-0 (14). Kazakhstan v Uzbekistan. Double Bronze (2012 & 2016) v Double Gold (2020 & 2024).

They did fight a few times in the amateurs I noticed. Dychko won them all. Let's get it on!
