Yes he beat him bad. But that has nothing to do with the “public hating him” agenda.

back then he would stubbornly speak about unnecessary and unacceptable provocative things….then he cries when people react

Then where did those pictures of him fighting Joe Jeanette come from?

We did, I certainly did for his boxing. he was one of the brightest stars.

but the public never hated him then, they just wasn’t bothered about him and he does like to be centre of attention.

    IMO

    Ortiz 1
    Ortiz 2
    Breazeale
    Stiverne 1
    Duhaupas
    Washington
    Helenius
    Szpilka
    Stiverne 2
    Scott

I would guess the order could be changed around in some arguments but would think the 2 Ortiz wins would be at the top

    Good topic :)
    Wilder's top 10 wins aren't that bad.
But Wilder's 10 title defenses are not good enough for Wilder to be ahead of consecutive title defenses: Ali (first reign), Frazier, Tyson, Lewis, Vitaly.

    Nobody will remember Wilder's reign.

I mean, his top ten is Okay..., but that WBC stamp of approval is doing a lot of heavy lifting on Wilder's resume

Compare his top 5/10 wins to some of his peers,

    Povetkin:

    1. Chagaev
    2. Huck
    3. Whyte 1
    4. Byrd (old)
    5. Rahman (old)

    6. Chambers
    7. Perez
    8. Wach
    9. Price
    10. Boswell

    Whyte:

    1. Parker
    2. Rivas (undefeated)
    3. Chisora 1
    4. Chisora 2
    5. Povetkin 2 (old)

    6.Browne (undefeated)
    7. Franklin (undefeated)
    8. Helenius
    9. Allen (undefeated)
    10. Wach

    Joseph Parker:

    1. Ruiz Jr. (Undefeated)
    2. Zhang
    3. Wilder
    4. Takam
    5. Chisora 2

    6. H. Fury (undefeated)
    7. Chisora 1
    8. Dimitrenko
    9. Fa (undefeated)
    10. Kean

The fact that scrub Duhaupas is in his top 7 victories says a lot about his "reign" as paper champion lol

What is the number at the end?
A rating with a governing body?

That is a good post, and I was thinking something similar
A world title or Undefeated record does fool alot of posters on here
If a fighter is continually taking on top or better opposition, there is more chance of losing rather than sitting back and letting everyone else battle it out and then just looking to face the victor. If you know what I mean?
