Yes. Can't wait. I was just thinking this will probably be the longest I've intently watched boxing in one go.

Most stacked card I've seen in awhile, that's for sure.

The upcoming Benavidez vs Morrell card isn't half bad as well.

    Yeah I think so

I've actually been contemplating jinxing this card. If I do decide to do go through with it I'm probably going to jinx 2 of the fights and Shakur vs Schofield is not going to be one of them :deal:

    Beterbiev vs Bivol
    Dubois vs J-Park
    Ortiz vs Madrimov
    Zhang vs Kabayel
    Adames vs Sheeraz
    Shakur vs Schofield
    Buatsi vs Smirh

I'd say its the best card ever probably yeah, hard to argue against it. And literally each fight on here is main event worthy.

What is crazy is that Turki actually wanted more good fights but Hearn and Warren said it was more than enough, and I'd have to side with Hearn and Warren here, this is a superb card.

There's a few fight cards were I can think of the top 3-4 billed fights were better. But a fight card of 14 fighters/7 billed fights....................I can't recall one better than this.

There's no Australians on the show & I'm really only interested in watching Australian fighters so it's definitely not the 'best ever' from my perspective. But it all depends on your perspective.

The Turki shoots, err, shows, are heavily laden with British fighters. So if you're British, yes, they're great shows. Not surprising that they're heavily laden with British fighters b/c it's British promoters who are putting them together.

Looking at the fights individually, Beterbiev v Bivol warrants a rematch but I think if Beterbiev loses it will be b/c he's too old. In fact, I think the only reason the first fight was so competitive was b/c Beterbiev was too old. From my perspective, it's a great fight but I've already seen it.

Dubois v Big Joe Parker - if you can't get an Australian on the show you get a junior Australian right? Yep, a Kiwi. So the South Pacific box is ticked. I'll watch the show but Dubois is the A-side here & I don't think Parker should be fighting him. It's poor matchmaking from Team Parker in my view so I'm not that excited about the fight. If Parker wins of course it sets up the fight that he should be having next which is Usyk. I don't like the fact that the British promoters are pushing another Brit ahead of the Kiwi for a shot at Usyk. And for another rematch no less. Like I said, exciting if you're a Brit for sure but not for me.

Ortiz v Madrimov - Great fight & not a Brit in sight. Unless you count Fast Eddie who promotes Madrimov. Thank goodness for the current crop of Junior Middleweights who will fight anyone, anywhere, anytime. Fascinating fight, genuine 50/50. Hoping the officials don't ruin it by cheerleading one of the fighters. No more Ortiz v Bohachuk scorecards please. Tell the California officials to stay home.

Big Bang v Kabayel - If I'm honest, this is a fight between a couple of guys who aren't up to it. I'd rather watch two young heavyweights on the way up than two guys who have been around for a long time, haven't reached the top & are still spinning. There's a chance the winner of this fight could reach the top I guess so that's something. It's competitively matched as well so that's something else.

Adames v Sheeraz - South American box ticked versus Arabic Brit. Definitely a 'world' title fight. Looks competitive to me, particularly with Middleweight in such a parlous state. A competitively matched fight with one sided odds also makes this a good one for the gamblers. Nice of Turki to keep them in mind when putting the show together.

    Shakur v Schofield - Time for a Macca's run.

Buatsi v Smith - Maybe they could rename the show Britfest 2025? Just kidding. Two good Light Heavies. A win for either will mean that the promoters can match the winner of Beterbiev v Bivol with, yep, you guessed it, another Brit.

Overall quality of show - 7 out of 10 for me. Would have been 8 out of 10 with a decent Australian on the show. 9 out of 10 if Parker was fighting Usyk.

What channel is Beterbiev vs Bivol 2 / Dubois vs Parker on: How to watch?
The Beterbiev vs Bivol 2 / Dubois vs Parker fight night will be broadcast on DAZN Pay-Per-View.

Final PPV costs are yet to be confirmed, but are expected to be no more than £19.99 in UK, and $25.99 in US and rest of the world.

Twenty six bucks is a great deal for this card

    Excellent post!

I am a Brit but I do see such a heavy bias with British fighters on these Saudi cards, understandably because its British promoters putting on the shows.

unfortunately the Saudis do seem to be taking over British boxing, and not world boxing.
the hype covering the Saudi takeover is heavily weighed to hyping British fighters etc.
America has long produced some of the best fighters but we don’t see them being included as much, hence they aren’t getting the promotion in uk.

I would like if more American fighters were involved and discussed as they used to be, the best talent traditionally come from there.

Britain has talented fighters, but they aren’t always the best in the world, very rare in fact.
Hopefully as things move forward, the 2 American continents will get more appreciation.
