Ali in the 60's for me. He could have boxed and moved like a lightweight for 30 rounds if required. it is why I think he would beat every heavyweight today Then Mike Tyson followed by Frazier Mike's style burns a lot of energy, he had to be in SUPREME condition to fight in that style Marciano was relentless and Usyk/Holyfield also deserve a mention What about big Ike? Look how many punches he and Tua threw over 12 rounds? Honestly there are too many to mention. The Heavyweight's now bar Usyk are a joke
Wlad did improve his conditioning after that tbf. But yeah Wlad is not going to have the stamina of some the lighter guys but it was pretty good.
First of all I am only gonna stick to modern guys because the historical guys...........................a journeymen we've never heard of probably eclipses the monster conditioned contemporary guys, it simply isn't fair. I'd say in my lifetime Holyfield. I see some people saying Marciano and he looked to be a real horse but how often did he really go late? Like Evander was going 12 constantly and firing all he had. Rocky for the most part had already ended guys before the championship rounds no?
After that fight, his punch output was reduced and regulated. Worked out good for him in the end. I just remember Roy Jones saying during the fight that Wlad was too big. LOL
Usyk = Can fight at a good pace whilst constantly using movement and angles. Norton = Probably has one of the best physiques ever and was a very strong 15 round fighter who didn't tire. Prime Ali = Could bounce on his toe for 15 rounds also very athletic. Marciano/Frazier = Two swarmers with high engines who never stop punching. Ibeabuchi = Broke the compubox record for for the most punches thrown in a Heavyweight fight for a big man he had a fantastic engine. Joyce = This may surprise some people but in regards to Super Heavyweights he has arguably the best stamina he can throw 70/80 punches a round and even managed over 100 punches in 1 round vs Parker.
