“A bunch of people on Twitter” is all you have to say about their boxing knowledge.

Btw, that "heart of a samurai, just packing a dull blade" comment regarding Sakai a few rounds ago was nasty work (by I think Osuna?)

    ...but accurate. :sisi1

Jin Sasaki is winning this fight handily but he has some defensive deficiencies that he seriously needs to work on. From what I’m seeing from him he’s not ready for any of the top WWs.

Sasaki still doing the same thing, marching forward, beating the **** out of his body, then Sakai lands a few counters. Rinse and repeat. They're standing toe to toe now, threatened to turn into a phonebooth war. Jin got the better of it, Sakai backed off. Now Sakai pressing forward a little, landing some decent one twos to the head. Sakai with uppercuts, Sasaki with body shots.

It says the first names right in the app they're using (granted smaller fonts, but still...)

Sasaki is out with renewed vigor, battering the body, ref calls time, they fix Sakai's tape. They're taking their time. Sasaki like a wildman just throwing haymakers, he rocks Sakai who does a stutter step, he goes on the offensive. Sakai recovers. Lands a few heavy right hands. Jin eating them flush. Sakai doesn't have the energy to maintain the attack. Jin back on the frontfoot, whipping in left hooks to the head.

Sakai is insanely durable. No man should be able to soak up that much punishment and not even be busted up either. I'm genuinely wondering if a prime Tommy Hearns could get him outta there.

    That's a very impressive stat.

Current world champs by nation: USA 16, Japan 9, Mexico 5.

Respective populations: 347 million, 124 million, 140 million.

His scorecard was (and is) by far the worst. The other Japanese accounts that had Sakai up earlier now have it tightening if not level already.

Jin looking straight up pissed that he can't stop Sakai, so he's just selling out, sitting down on virtually everything. Sakai soaking up everything. A left hook to the liver seemed to bother Sakai for a second. A left hook to the body then violent overhand right hurts Sakai, Sasaki goes wild again. Sakai hurt late again, Jin unloads, Sakai soaks it up. Goddamn he's tough as ****.
