Mine are going to be a bit unorthodox, I know, because a lot of those big names had seen better days, but we can discuss it when the votes come in. Looking back, its just hard for me to split if Mike was that good against some of his opponents, or it they were just in bad shape.

    Tony Tucker
    Razor Ruddock II
    Razo Ruddock I
    Larry Holmes
    Trevor Berbick
    Bonecrusher Smith
    Carl Williams
    Tyrell Biggs
    Michael Spinks
    Frank Bruno I

    OTHER NOTABLES:
    Pinklon Thomas
    Tony Tubbs
    Jose Ribalta
    Franz Botha
    Clifford Etienne
    Brian Neilson
    Lou Savaresse
    Bruce Seldon
    Buster Mathis Jr.
    Alex Stewart
    Mitch Green
    Jesse Ferguson

You know, I never would have thought someone was going to say Frazier...and yet I respect it!

    For me, in order

Holmes, yes, nobody did that to Larry

    Biggs. Surgical, terrifying, controlled

Ruddock x 2, the fights where we saw he could stand up when things were getting tough.

Tucker. Came back from adversity, beat a solid man who still looks good retrospectively.

Berbick. Big, tough, awkward, durable, goodnight, and the new.....Huge cultural significance

Bruno 1, Others will disagree but I rate Frank. Mike was shaken and it wasn't a blow out.

Tillis. Another difficult night. Went 12, prepared him for not getting his own way.

Douglas. Yes, really. Watch this fight and Mikey shows a huge amount of heart. He took a beating. People think this was close because of the revisionist history created by King but he got battered; being fair. against Lewis and Holyfield he also went out on his shield. These losing fights deserve a mention because they showed something many people thought he didn't have...heart.

Spinx. For me an overrated win but a blow out against a man who had beaten Holmes twice and was a lhw ATG. Historically this was a significant win.

Every pick is welcome, and good explanation. Douglas is the "heart" fight.

    Thanks for Tillis, too.
