I'd back Duran at LW, but Pac at WW.

Duran kills Pacquaio, Manny got racked over the coals against Eric Morales and people think he'd beat Roberto at 135?

Duran in all the weight classes listed. Even Freddie said Duran was the better fighter.

Pac can win more as Duran lost most of his biggest fights

Hmmm, Duran lost most of his big fights when he was older and starts to lose and gain weight often, looking from his losses he's mostly punished by outboxers or fighters way stronger that can impose their strength on him.

Considering pac had none of those attributes Duran would have a breakfast.

I favor the Pac man, has more speed, lightning paws, better defense and solid puncher

Duran wins at every weight his form starting from beating De Jesus in their 3rd fight at Lightweight up until beating Palomino, Leonard, at Welterweight was too good. I can't see any version of Pacquiao being able to beat Duran in any of those fights.

Duran would chase Pacquiao down maul him on the inside attacking the body and stop Pacquiao between 10-11th round.

Whilst Pacquiao has good footwork he's still a very offensive fighter and he's not as good of a boxer as Leonard that he could fight a very smart tactical fight at distance whilst not getting hit.

Leonard was also considerably bigger than Duran being 5'10 with a 74 inch reach whilst Pacquiao is only 5'5 with a 67 inch reach.

Yeah because Pacquiao could really beat Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, Benitez.

Pacquiao better defence ? i don't think so buddy Pacquiao got hit flush alot in his fights and relied on his footwork and athleticism.

Duran was a master at rolling with punches and very rarely got flush right on the button.

Saying Pacquiao has more speed than Duran is totally reasonable but better defence ? absolutely not.

Duran fights wide open, meaning with his chin, easy to hit.

Quite possibly one of the most untrue things said on these forums in a long time.

Duran is top of the tree of the come forward mid-range to inside fighters of all times defensively. Even when he gets hit, he has the reflex and skill to roll with the punch whilst simultaneously launching his own counter.

As said, Pac is quicker than Duran, but doesn't have his balance, his skill level and definitely is his inferior, by significant levels, defensively.

Duran would have less of a chance of beating Armstrong. Duran is very good no doubt, but gets frustrated when he can't hit his opponent, which makes him beatable.

I dunno man,he did quit vs Leonard and got outclassed by Benitez, but after that then what?

Even when he struggled to hit Laing he's still firing and responding with some accurate one twos, plus as slick as Armstrong was Duran just needs to foul him back to a dirty victory.

There are only a few times I saw him get hit flush, most of them being past his best
