There's nothing wrong with Joyce's resume- it's much better than a lot of current heavyweights.

He has beaten Dubios and Parker in last few years who are both now fighting each other for a heavyweight title.

Even if the opposition is mediocre, a heavyweight can do a lot of damage if they land flush. And Joyce has blocked many shots using just his face.

None of that was in the op. You said crumbled under the first hard puncher, you saying dubois isn't a hard puncher?

The problem was more that Joyce bought into the juggernaut walk through anything rhetoric. Plus after the Dubois fight, his age and late start began to show with a loss of his natural athleticism.

I didn't notice a decline in those departments or his chin. Joe was never athletic.

How would someone as new as yourself know who half of these guys including Jürgen are?

Your all **** trolls, notice you avoided the questions everyone is asking.

Are you saying dubious doesn't hit hard?

Doing a back flip is pretty athletic.

Putting him in with Zhang was lunacy, on a par with Price going in with a crafty durable southpaw.

He could have waited his time out to a shot, particularly in light of what Dubois and Parker have went on to achieve.

Feel a bit sorry for him tbh

He had no time to waste due to age.

Respect to him for taking the difficult options.

It was always a massively risky fight but he deserves credit for taking it when he could have just done what plenty do and sat on his mandatory position.

Fans rightly slate fighters who do that so we should recognise it when a fighter is willing to risk his shot against dangerous opposition.

He wanted the biggest fights possible while the belts were held hostage.
