Why aren't people calling out Inoue for facing weak opposition lately?

That's how boxing is. If you're deemed one of the "good guys" you will always be propped up on a pedestal.
If they don't like you then all of your accomplishments will be belittled.
That's why you can't trust what the "experts" or "historians" try to sell you.
There is more bias in boxing than in any other sport

 

Because his "weak" competition isn't all that weak (late replacement excluded). Other than Casimero (which I have no doubt will happen), Goodman (which was set and is not Inoue's fault) he's pretty much cleaned it out. I've also seen some guys mentioned that Inoue has already beat who beat them............that's silly to call his resume weak for not beating someone that he already beat has beaten.

 

So true! It’s sad though as fighters put their life on the line

 

Because anyone with half a brain knows what happened, he was suppose to fight goodman who is a mandatory (literally ranked under him on a governing body)

And just because you don't know the opponents doesnt mean they are weak, you just don't watch boxing outside your favorite ones.

I've been reading a lot of these types of narratives from casimero fans lately, they funny though. PH boxing has really hit the dirt if PH dudes are rooting for that guy..

 

Inoue gets called out on his resume and his level of competition just like any fighter. No fighter is immune to criticism, let's not kid ourselves.

His last opponent was a very last minute replacement that was outside of Inoue's control and he didn't want to waste any more time delaying himself so he had to settle with what he had in front of him. If the rumors are true that his next 3 fights will consists of Picasso, MJ, and Ball within this year at least that should be a nice improvement from his last 2 underwhelming opponents.

Most of us Filipinos don't support that guy at all and have been wanting Inoue to spark that guy cold. For some reason Casimero has some really delusional, die hard fanboys that find comfort in thinking that Inoue is "avoiding" Casimero which I find laughable.

Right now we have Pedro Taduran, Melvin Jerusalem, Weljon Mindoro, Eumir Marcial to look forward to.

if was 2 days before yeah. But it was nearly 3 weeks. For the money Inoue opponents get, they definitely could and should have got someone better.

Sorry for not knowing the absolute bum ranked 62rd in the world korean guy, and Picasso - and up and coming guy who hasn't even had a world title fight yet and has only had one 12 round fight

 

Goodman is well above domestic level considering he stopped the Australian Champion Schleibs in 4 rounds and has good wins over previously unbeaten fighters in Aleem and Luanphom. He also has a win over TJ Doheny. Goodman's resume suggests that he is a better mandatory challenger than a lot of the ones we see in any division.

 

I would rather say that Inoue is so good that the others look bad...
