The stuff that JMM did at WW was after the Mayweather fight. Gamboa was never the same after Crawford beat him Same as Spence and Avenesayan. Thats the problem with allowing resumes to age. It doesnt factor that in
Gamboa was not a Lightweight lol it was a mismatch in size do you even know Gamboa's career ? He fought primarily at Featherweight.
Stop avoiding the issue. List Crawfords "top ten" opponents....even assume he defeats Canelo....and compare it to the list I made for Armstrong.
We arguing that lol because you're comparing Mayweather beating Corley in a lopsided decision to Crawford beating a midget Featherweight in a back and forth war ? WTF
Canelo Spence Porter Madrimov Gamboa Postol Idongo Dulorme Brook Horn Edit Actually Kavliauskas and Avenesayan are better fighters than Horn, Brook, Dulorme and Idongo so yea you can edit it how you like Crawford was ducked/froze out by a lot of people including Pacquiao, Thurman, Danny Garcia, Charlo, who moved up to fight Canelo (missed opportunity at 154), and Ennis, it seems like Fundora is going the easier route trying to fight Spence instead of Crawford (cant blame him)
Porter = inactive semi retired only had a few fights in 3 years. Brook = No longer world level suffered a terrible eye injury vs Golovkin that never fully recovered and had already lost to Spence. Gamboa = Midget Featherweight that had no business at Lightweight it was a mismatch in size. Madrimov = We'll have to wait and see how his career pans out this win could age well or age poorly. The other names are B class fighters nothing special.
Porter: That few fights in 3 years arguement is terible considering the cirumstcnaes of the covid pandemeic where that was standard protocil. Crawford had a similar anount of fights in that time. Brook was no longer world level yes. Still a dominant performance. Gamboa was a smaller guy who moved up true.
Porter had already been inactive for the past 3 years barely fighting he had one foot out of the door and would retire after the Crawford fight. Well yes I'd expect Crawford to dominant a shopworn Brook.
Thanks. You've proven my point and nearly everyone else's in here. His resume is stacked with C to B boxers. Regarding ducking, it takes two to tango.
What are you talking about? Best timing ever? The best resume ever? No. He’d have a MONSTER win, and he’d get huge credit. But how would he have the best resume ever? His resume is weak for such a talented a fighter.
Funny how all the former Floyd fans are hyping Crawford as the king of boxing now. I wonder why haha.
Yes he has the best timing in the history of boxing At least that I have seen on camera If he does not please tell me who does cause I would love to watch
