Why are you obsessed with resume?

Why is that the only criteria to measure fighters on?

Their resumes are literally one of the biggest factors when ranking someone.

Yeah nah i can't agree with this. His resume absolutely trashes on Crawfords. Jones was also a freak athlete and we could saw nobody could really contend with him in his prime. Crawford has had a couple tough fights against Kavaliauskas and Benavidez

    You are embarrassing yourself.

By ANY metric, Mike’s resume is clearly superior to Crawford’s.

He didn’t separate himself from the others?

    I wonder why that was?

Here’s a word for you to look up: CONTEXT.

Mike fought in an era with PRIME versions of Sumbu Kalambay, Roy Jones and James Toney etc.

Terence is in an era with Shawn Porter, Kell Brook and Amir Khan.

Can you not appreciate the vast difference in their circumstances?

    Their opponents??

    Roy Jones IS an ATG.

In a ranking purely based upon H2H ability, an argument COULD be put forward for him to be the GOAT.

But absolutely NOT, under traditional ranking criteria.

There were many eras of the past sufficiently stronger than many eras of today.

Floyd doesn’t have wins over a prime ATG, but his resume is stacked.

He has a much deeper resume than Terence.

Toney is a modern day ATG for sure.

He just let ill discipline derail his career.

Hopkins is an ATG, but yes, he wasn’t prime.

    The criteria is not bogus.

    Traditional ranking criteria:

    Ability
    Overall resume
    Best wins
    Accomplishments
    Longevity.

    Terence can’t be the GOAT.

He doesn’t have more ability then everybody we’ve seen in history.

His overall resume and wins are both significantly weaker than many other fighters that we’ve seen throughout history.

You said he’d be the GOAT.

Resume/wins are literally one of the most important factors of ranking.

A poor resume doesn’t give you a hope of being considered the GOAT.

RJJ beat Hopkins, Hill, Toney, 2 of them are considered ATGs and 1 is considered a lower tier great in Hill.

Has Crawford even beaten a single fighter that could be considered great ? I don't think so.

Even a fighter like Reggie Johnson would be probably a top 3 win for Crawford on his resume right now.

RJJ resume is considerably better than Crawford's along with his domination as a top P4P fighter for atleast a decade.

He thinks that Terence has a better group of wins than Mike McCallum.

Roy Jones lost the first 4 rounds to Griffin even before the dq (the losing the first 4 rounds gets overshadowed) and no the Benavidez fight was not close

Agreed on the Roy part in that he ultimately didn't achieve enough and beating John Ruiz at heavyweight doesn't make up for it

Crawford beating Canelo would be greater than Roy Jones beating John Ruiz

James Toney is not an ATG I'm sorry. He left too much on the table

Too many close fights and too many down years without a title along with poor performances

If James Toney is an ATG then Canelo certainly is
