Exactly my point. People are acting like this is a thing coming from all the major sanctioning bodies, and as far as I can see, it's not.

The reason they reduced Pulev’s purse is that Wladimir was worth much more than the 80% maximum that sanctioning body allowed for champions fighting mandatory contenders

Can't argue, but there was no evidence that Wilder's team set Povetkin up to get out of a fight with him either, but some folks kept running with that narrative. Those are the guys I'm referring to.

I never thought there was a setup. I was pissed off because Povetkin was essentially exonerated of that first charge and I thought the fight could have went on, given the minute amounts in his system of s substance that had only recently gone on the banned list. I certainly could have been wrong, but I never accused Wilder's people of slipping it to him, or anything.

That might’ve been the purported reason given at the time, sure, but sanctioning bodies have well defined rules when it comes to mandatory challenger fees which they are supposed to abide by. Especially the IBF which was a stickler when it came to those things — back then at least. Wlad being that juiced in within the German boxing establishment to be able to make a phone call and get money taken away from his opponent was nuts. Even Mayweather couldn’t pull that off with the NSAC.

No proof that margarito used loaded gloves in any fight besides Mosely, but look how that turned out

But wasn’t all the top guys avoiding Whyte? according to him, fury wilder and AJ (who had already ko’d him) were all avoiding him.

Then fury put him in his place with a fight that showed Whyte was never on that level. Nobody was scared of him.

Fury and miller are proven drug cheats.

AJ and wlad are not proven.

I think it´s a worthwhile effort. They do it in Olympic sports too - store samples for later testing, when testing advances and is able to detect substances it could not have years prior.
Considering the sanctioning fees they take, the boxing organizations all should have storage facilities for retroactive testing.
Just because someone gets away with cheating today, doesn´t mean they are free from any repercussions in the future.

Got news for ya'll.. they're ALL on it! To some extent .. & some have more complex expensive regimes than others.. the weight grifters are the ones to look at the most... the fighters who in between camps are walking around 40/50lbs above what they weigh in at. The ones who rehydrate 25lbs over night. That is NOT natural. Sorry to burst your bubble but one untouched part of the boxing deabtes is who has/had the best dealer.

Not everyone are morally bankrupt. There will be some clean, world class boxers.
I am fairly certain that Donaire has been clean his entire career.

This is not fact though, it’s your theory.

As “everybody is on something”, do you believe there shouldn’t be punishments for those caught?

It’s like a convicted criminal saying “oh well nobody is 100% law abiding are they, everyone does a couple dodgy things”
