When Crawford beat Spence he was better than Hopkins or Hill was when Jones beat them Toney was better than Spence but Roy Jones didnt dominate him as much as Crawford did vs Spence
You realize that was at a 152 pound catchweight when Canelo was still developing right ? Great win but it wouldnt compare to Crawford beating Canelo now at SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT
That was a nice win but Jackson was far from a great fighter. Great power sure but not a great fighter by any stretch
This is an interesting point because obviously Pacquiao was a lot smaller than Crawford so its unfair to Pacquiao. Id favor Crawford to beat every Pacquiao opponent from 135-150 (including Margarito) But its boxing and anything can happen so its possible that Terence Crawford would have had at least 1 loss
It is a HUGE factor. No fighter can even be up for consideration to be the GOAT, unless he possesses a top quality resume.
Terence beating Canelo would be on another level to Roy having beaten Ruiz. However, Roy still has a much superior resume.
Toney was tremendously gifted, with a great resume. He has better wins than Canelo. And if he isn’t an ATG, then don’t even think about saying that Spence is.
I dont think Toneys wins are better than Canelos (especially if you count the 2nd Golovkin fight as a win) Toney may have had natural talent but he didnt maximize it Spence is not an all time great
Nobody understands the point that you’re making. Terence would not be considered the GOAT if he beats Canelo. 1. He is not THE most gifted fighter that we have seen in history. 2. His resume would still be weaker than many other greats.
Are you for real? Compared to many other GREATS his resume is poor. Not in general. But compared to other greats, 100% What is great about it? It is full of B-C level guys, and no prime HOF/ATG’s.
