We're in the realm of supposition. That's fine. None of us can say what will happen with absolute certainty. We only know what happened. How many boxers were able to keep Joe Frazier off of them? I can think of only one and it wasn't his footwork that kept Frazier off of him.

How many SHWs or fighters the size of modern HWs did Frazier fight? Not a huge sample size

The Usyk—Fury cards were reasonable. The single judge’s scorecard that you handpicked out of thousands of fights was not.

He did not have equal foot speed to a prime Ali.

He does not possess the tools to have kept Frazier from swarming him.

No knowledgeable fan shares this opinion.

I picked that due to your love of that win.

I could have chosen many other examples.

Appeal to popularity is a logical fallacy. Appeal to authority is only a logical fallacy if the authority being appealed to isn't an authority on the subject he or she is being appealed to. It would be interesting to see experts weigh in on who has better footwork.

Who would Usyk have to beat to make you question this assessment? Can you think of anyone in this era with Tysonesque traits he could fight? Obviously there is no Tyson but maybe someone stylistically similar?

Dubois seems like the most Tyson like opponent so far but maybe you disagree

You of all people don't want to be debating about fallacies.

    Trust me on that.

Daniel Dubois has ZERO similarities to Mike Tyson.

How many more things are you going to get wrong today?

Are you going for some sort of a record?

I wrestle with this topic all the time. The topic being old timer's bias. Sports has evolved but I believe Willie Mays would still be Willie Mays, Joe Montana would still be Joe Montana, and Michael Jordan would still be Michael Jordan.
