Pretty ridiculous to do this to him given the open PED usage of other boxers who do not have their records nuked. For example the Evan Fields fiasco and many others over the years.

It smacks of being a kick against the Russians because of the Ukraine/Russia conflict more than anything else.

Based off of this wouldn't Fury"s win over Wladamir be disqualified since he failed a test prior to the fight and was not suspended until well after shouldn't that apply to him as well?

Nothing wrong with that, esp. considering that Povetkin is a pro-war degenerate

I agree with mostly of what you put just like the ban probably has something to do with politics.
Why didn't you mention Fury? or Ortiz? who popped for steroids as well? they should be in that list well in advance of people who you suspect but were also tested in their career I.E Joshua, and never tested positive.

I think Whyte in his prime was pretty good, but man he could not take an uppercut to save his life lol.

I guess I just never saw it.

Whyte beat the guys he was supposed to until he lost to Joshua via the uppercut. No shame there, happens.

Couple of rebuilding fights later Whyte wins an SD against a Chisora who had already lost six. UD's a Helenius who had already been knocked out by Duhaupas three fights prior.

All that took him to his career best win over Joesph Parker which he only won because a headbutt was ruled as a knockdown.

His resume isn't particularly deep and every single time he has lost a fight it has been via the uppercut.

He's got a nightmare left hook and most likely all he will have to show for it is CTE.

If they decide to cancel the fights between 2014 and 2024, they must also cancel Povetkin's defeats against Joshua and Whyte.
It is impossible to beat a doped boxer without being doped yourself.

No, PEDS don`t make you a superman, you can`t give a crap fighter PEDS and then expect him to beat a world champ, it doesn`t work like that, some heavyweights have power Whyte and AJ are two of those such heavyweights and they cracked Povetkin on the chin and he went, why would they need PEDS for that? Having said that Whyte is a proving drugs cheat so you can score his win off anyway, however AJ has never failed a drugs test.

So it’s ok to nuke a decorated professional boxers record because of a stupid war and his opinions.

    It’s not.

Name me 3 HW fighters who have fought for a world title and had records nuked off the back of doping.
