That's the danger I think - that the sport starts going that way. I totally get you have to protect the safety of fighters, but how many times do you see a fighter temporarily buzzed then work their way back into the fight.

If fights get stopped at the first sign of trouble then fighters and fans are going to be denied all the drama of these comeback style wins / wars

 

I agree but the skill levels of some of the fighters in the ring like Forrest, he simply looked buzzed to the ref, couldn't or wouldn't try to hold or work his way out of the corner or return fire. I do agree should of let it continue longer but Forrest had stiffened up and the result never in doubt.
