Cheatham didn't have it 10-2. Cheatham scored it 11-1 Benavidez. (119-109, but extra point from Benavidez for the Morrell knockdown and then point deducted from Morrell in the same round = 118-108)

Thank you!:sisi1 But tell me something, do you really disagree with me all that much here? After all you had it 115-113 DB, with two rounds denoted as close and very close for Benavidez and one a 10-10. Flip all three of those, you have roughly the same score as I do.

True - his rep is based almost entirely on being knocked out by World Level Guys, and cab driver crushings is how he earned them. However, he has at least fought some serious guys. What has Benavidez ever done? Conquered a garbage pile of backup dancers, spent forces and never-was's - ie- the Super Middleweight Division. Hell, Spider Richards would probably beat him.

once again we’re in agreement , it was a good close fight . Morrell got zero credit for the cleaner shots throughout the fight .

but A-sides are not allowed to lose anymore ever

Benny took it by about 4 rounds
But the 11th Should have been a 10-8 round for morrell
Ref shouldn’t have deducted a point both guys were throwing after the bell.

Benavidez is good but very beatable at 175. He’ll have some exciting fights in the future, especially if he can get away from PBC.

I suspect Benavidez's win will age very well, Morrell is a legit beast.
