Maybe, i just dont think Benavidez is the one to do it. I just see him being outmanouvered quite easily and will underestimate the strength and IQ of Bivol.

 

Benavidez won't fight Bivol/Beterbiev. He wants small sized Canelo.

 

You're the only one I've ever seen say he has very good defense. To the point it's pretty laughable. Not that he has some defense but that you overrated him so hard. And this isn't a Canelo thread we've had more than enough back and forth post about him. Tell us why Benavidez has this massive resume in your eyes over 2 guys who rated p4p instead.

I'm still waiting for you to explain whats so good about Beterbievs resume? Whats his best wins? He has only 19 fights. I think David's resume is better than Beterbievs already.

 

He's faced 4 Ring top 10 ranked 175ers at the time they were ranked in the top 10. Bivol will be his 5th, in only 20 fights. Fun fact he beat Callum Smith who Benavidez never faced while he was no.1 in David's own 168 division. Another fun one is Callum was actually ranked no.1 by the WBC when they allowed David to fight for the belt only ranked no. 3 or 4 if memory serves correct. Back to Beterbiev he's got 3 of his divisions 4 belts. Oh and he's kod every man he's faced to this point.

Meanwhile David has only fought 2 Ring top 10 ranked guys. He's only taken the belt off one champion(Dirrell, who was only ranked no.4 by Ring that year.) Another fun fact, in 2020 his team said he wasn't ready yet to face Plant. He sure was ready to face him after Canelo KOd him though lol. And again let's highlight the fact that he got to fight for the title from the no 3 or 4 spot in the wbc while Smith was ranked no.1 somehow.

Just for kicks Bivol has a win over Canelo when he was arguably p4p no.1 in the sport. That kills anything Benavidez has done. But hey Bivol also has several wins over Ring top 10 ranked guys as well.

They were all rings top 10. 4 of them were former or current world champions. Beterviev has only fought 3 former and current champions. Not sure why you are mentioning Callum Smith who should have lost to John Ryder, that is his level, another british dude who isn't that good. Davids top 3 wins are better than Betervievs also. If Beterbiev would be an ATG beating Bivol, then David must be an ATG if he beats Beterbiev for undisputed.

Smoking dope. At the time he fought them? 2. Why would we care if someone was rated 2 years before the fight like Lemuiex? Gavril hasn't been rated by Ring in his life and certainly not the year he fought David. Smith was talking alot of **** about Gavril and Benavidez fighting for a belt he was ranked no.1 for. Andrade was ranked by Ring at middleweight, not 168. How could he be with only one fight there, having your 1st step up in competition at 36 after 33 bouts? His only titles are 2 vacant belt wins. You gotta do better than that if you want anyone to believe something ridiculous. And if you want to use such loose standards then Bivol and Beterbiev look even better.

His top 3 wins? Dirrell is a good one. Andrade isn't a 168 fighter, he was just desperate. And Plant while decent had been knocked out by Alvarez. Would have meant more if he faced him before Canelo, but again his team said he "wasn't ready"

 

They were all rated rings top 10 at 168 when David fought them. I even think Lemuiex was top 5, he had 3 wins in the division. Andrade is a 2 division champion, that is why he was rated top 10. It does not matter if they were vacant titles, there are still barely any 2 division champions around for a reason. Smith needed a robbery to beat John ryder, so stop talking about him. How many 2 division champions has Beterbiev beaten? Whats his best wins? Will you give David credit if he beats the best win on Beterbievs resume?
