Who has Benavidez beat again to be even mentioned in the same sentence as Froch?

Plant, Andrade, Lemieux, please Froch's title winning fight against future light heavyweight champion Pascal alone is better than Benavidez's whole resume.

Froch would crush Benavidez, he simply doesn't have the style or the ability to beat Froch.

    Spot on!

Benavidez needs to step up and beat someone fit for lacing Froch's boots first - and he hasn't done that yet, an old inactive 154 Andrade, and failing to stop Plant isn't cutting it.

Froch is teak tough (just watch the wars with Pascal or Kessler) and we know he can walk through the fire - but could Benavidez take the return fire?

I'd re-evaluate if Benavidez was to go on to face and beat elite talents like Canelo or going up to 175 and beating Beterbiev or Bivol.

168 is a wasteland just now so not sure there are other names there that would fit the bill

Who has Benavidez beaten at 168?

Shot to pieces Lemieux who was always at 160lbs?

Extremely inactive Andrade who had 1 fight against a bum in 2 years, was moving up weight class, and was never that good to begin with..?

“Slick” (my preferred word is ****) Plant?

Froch is strong and tough as a Rhino, HOF career, Benavidez needs more to be considered a favorite.

Froch for me. Might reconsider in 3-5 years

Benavidez is Froch on 1.5x youtube video speed. It would be entertaining, but DB would land the flashier stuff and win easily unless three blokes were scoring the fight.

Benavidez is an offensive prodigy and Canelo is preventing him from being rightfully recognized.

    Bump.
I favor Froch to outlast Benavidez due to his superior stamina. But that would have been an absolute war from start to finish.

Would've been a war. I'd lean Froch with his better stuff against the top tier

Who the hell has Benavidez fought? Froch fought Kessler, Groves, Bute, Reid, Taylor, Pascal, Johnson, Abraham, Ward, Direll..
Even men like Brian Magee are better than most of Benavidez' opposition.. Andrade? A career MW whos had 7 bum fights since 2018.. 7 LMAO... Andrade doesn't have a single stand out win on his entire resume. Morell is just 12 fights in & doesn't have a single stand out win either. Don't get me started on the embarrassment that was the Gvozdyk fight.. Froch is PROVEN.. Benavidez isn't.. in fact he's already looking flaky at just a slight step up.. Froch is a legit proven HOF SMW road warrior. Benavidez has female nips & hides in the PBC tickling barely known house fighters.
