I think David can beat anyone at 175. His hardest fight will probably be Bivol, who I expect to get past Beterbiev. But his chin seems solid enough to handle Bivols power, and his volume and activity will be a problem for Bivol, who pushes only as hard as he has to.

I had a feeling this fight was a little too soon for the relatively inexperienced Morrell. Wasn't super impressed with Benavidez, but, he is pretty relentless. Last night was a decent fight. Definitely think Benavidez is a step down from guys like Beterbiev and Bivol, but, he has at least earned the right to get his shot at them.

You are going to play the weight bully card and then mention Beterbiev as if he is some small 175 fighter. That is pretty damn funny.

I think Benavidez should wait a year and take a year to polish what is missing and he will be ready for Bivol or Beterviev.. there are things to improve but he should be almost ready.. he still has a ceiling to continue improving.. I see him getting better with each fight.

People have been calling Morrell a slick boxer, but I think he is more of a slick slugger. He has the tools to do it all but he really prefers to just slug it out. He really needed to move around more and mix things up. You won't beat Benavidez standing infront in a high guard for long periods. He is so crafty at getting his shots in from every angle.

Canelo would absolutely have field day with Benavidez' lack of head movement.

Benavidez announced he was moving up to 175 ONE week before he could enforce his mandatory status. That's weird.

    Definitely more a boxer-puncher, yeah.
