    I myself gave up in 2024. He isn´t even fighting guys in his own division at this point, it´s ridiculous. If this goes through, as rumored, then Canelo will have fought only two super-middleweights in his last 5 fights.

    Wtf happened to him? I can´t believe that Bivol really ripped all ambition out of him.

    I agree, I'm just saying Canelo should give Crawford the opportunity to be Undisputed in 3 divisions so a Scull fight as weak as it is makes more sense.

    Yep - beating Scull and giving Bud the opportunity to collect all the hardware at SMW in one fell swoop is the juicier legacy option for sure. On the other hand, the purses for Canelo vs. Bud will be a LOT fatter after Canelo vs. Paul than after Canelo vs. Scull - so it's either boost both men's prestige, or bank account.

    Maybe, but having that IBF included in the mix might make Canelo-Crawford a more attractive fight to the casuals IMO. IDK well see, Canelo might throw a curveball and pass on a Paul fight entirely and decide to go scoop up that IBF stap.

    Anything short of Jake getting KOd would still look bad. Paul lasting a full 10 or 12 rounds with Canelo would be a moral victory for him. He needs to take the approach AJ did with Ngannou and not the Fury approach to this.
