Moses Itauma and Fabio Wardley have taken the boxing world by storm and are climbing the rankings list of sanctioning bodies at a meteoric pace. Following are the latest rankings lists from sanctioning bodies and ring magazine. Usyk and Dubois are not rated by sanctioning bodies as they are belt holders, but Ring magazine has ranked Dubois.

    WBA:
    1. Wardley
    2. Bakole
    3. Hunter
    4. Pero
    5. Itauma
    6. Kabayel
    7. Charr
    8. Zhang
    9. Hrgovic
    10. Gassiev

    10. Ajagba

    IBO:
    1. Fury

What do you think of the above ratings? Do you think Ring magazine is right in ranking Dubois below Fury? Has Itauma done enough to be in the top ten? Which list is your favorite one?

I don’t think Wardley or Itauma are Top 10 yet. WBA is the worst one. IBO and RING are somewhat ok but I don’t agree.

    Mine:

    1. Fury
    2. Dubois
    3. Joshua
    4. Parker
    5. Zhang
    6. Kabayel
    7. Bakole
    8. Hrgovic
    9. Chisora
    10. Joyce

Just curious, but what puts Fury above Dubois in your list? What was his last great performance?

Sigh,,,,on a historical level this is an abhorrent age of heavyweight boxing. I'd bet a prime Jerry Quarry would go through everyone of these guys.

Exactly I don't understand people ranking Fury so high past achievements have nothing to do with current rankings it's based on your recent form.

Fury's last win over a ranked opponent was 3 years ago and he's arguably 0-3 in his last 3 fights including an awful performance vs an MMA fighter.

Fury has no belt no relevant wins in 3 years compared to Dubois who's stopped 2 top 10 ranked Heavyweights Joshua, Hrgovic, in the past year and hes currently the IBF champion.

Since Tyson Fury is retired, should the sanctioning organizations not remove him from their rankings?

Only rankings that are serious IMO is the Ring by the looks of it. I really appreciate what Turki has done to boxing recently but I hope he doesn't stain the Ring.

The worst is by far the WBA, Charr and Itauma? Who have they beaten?

Dubois is Champion because of the usual ****ery by the IBF. And it’s not far fetched that Warren and Hearn made some phone calls to the IBF as well to strip Usyk. Dubois is lucky to have a good promoter. He didn’t deserve a title shot against Usyk at that point in his career either.

Between the Usyk, Lerena, and Joyce fights Dubois has shown a lot of fragility. With his excellent streak as of late he has redeemed himself but I consider him back at the zero point. He paid off his deficit, and with the IBF strap around his waist he has a chance now to build up his credit again.

Fury went 24 rounds with Usyk and looked better then anyone else against Usyk. I don’t see any of the contenders as a favorite against Fury H2H if he fights like his last two fights.

If these fighters fought twice or more a year ... and rematches were limited to only the closest first fights ... HW division could really take off.
