Is this fight actually in the works? I could see Canelo doing this in a few years' time at the end of his career but surely not now while he's still an active world champion?

I also saw Jake Paul was gonna be fighting his brother Logan but not sure if that was BS or not.

If one was operating under the assumption that Canelo has not evolved or improved one iota since the loss to Mayweather, I could get why they'd think Bud had a chance. But Canelo is a completely different animal now, and his ability to cut the ring off, hunt down and punish elusive fighters has improved drastically. Bud isn't as elusive as his hypers imagine him to be, Madrimov, Porter, Avanesyan and Kavaliauskas laid hands on him aplenty, and they had his keep them honest power to worry about. Canelo's defense and chin are so good, he'll walk through Bud's best like they're rabbit pellets being thrown at him, and batter him into submission.

I'm a huge Crawford fan and would love him to win but I gotta agree with you here.

Crawford should fight Scull as his tune up to aclimate him self to the weight class.
They could then fight for undisputed IF he is successful.

Canelo trying to make 300 Ms in 3 fights
Dope for him sucks for us.

Former Lightweight who walks around at 180 Crawford is also taller with a 4 inch reach advantage.

Duran was a former Lightweight who was dwarfed by Barkley and beat him. And the size difference between Duran/Barkley was much more apparent than Crawford/Canelo will be.

Mayweather schooled Canelo with a 15 pound weight disadvantage.

Jake literally fighting former P4P#1 ATGs back to back in just his 13th ever fight, one of whom was literally ''The Baddest Man on the Planet'' and the most fearsome punchers of all time. Who does that?

And this is after already having fought an

    MMA GOAT
    MMA 5 x world champion
    MMA perennial contender legend
    MMA fighter/Bare knuckle champion
One of the most highly decorated wrestlers to fight in MMA
The brother of the 2nd greatest HW of this generation
    Golden gloves boxing champions
    National championships runner up boxers
And doing a better job on the common opponent he shares with TBE Floyd Mayweather in his first ever fight in his life than Floyd who has been boxing since the crib, was groomed to be a champ by actual world champions since he was in the crib, and had over 150 fights of experience amateur and pro combined under his belt, did on them

And all in just 12 fights. Unreal!

Jake ''Money'' Paul really is built different

FTR, Clenelo is currently ranked P4P #7

Stop it with this silliness! Barkley was a middleweight and Duran had been fighting in and around middleweight for 8 goddamn years at that point. He didn't make a quantum leap up two divisions, after spending only one fight at 154. Also Canelo's walking around weight is rumored o be between 205-210. So still functionally a 25-30 pound advantage.

I'm telling you Crawford wins a decision I firmly believe it I may be wrong and we have to wait and see how effective Crawford is at the weight.

But Canelo is not an overly aggressive fighter he fights in spurts which gives Crawford more of a chance in a chess match rather than a big strong fighter swaming all over him.

Canelo's level of competition in recent years hasn't been the best either and he hasn't had a stoppage win in 4 years.

Crawford is taller with a significantly longer reach and his style of boxing will give Canelo fits.

My only issue is we haven't seen Crawford in with a real big banger so I'm still not totally sold on how good Crawford's chin actually is.

There is truth in the fact that Canelo is not a pure pressure fighter like a Chavez. He'll pressure when he's comfortable but he's mostly a guy that likes to use his opponents aggression against them and accurately counter punch.

The thing is, Crawford is also a natural counter puncher who is more athletic and has faster feet.

Canelo should definitely be favored when you follow the old adage "great big man beats great little man", but this honestly has all the makings of a dull match.

You really shouldn't spout such nonsense. Canelo walking around ar 210 Yeah right. Reminds me of people claiming that Felix T walked around at 180 and Roy Jones walking around at 250. Pure nonsense.

Jake Paul must be cashing out for mega Netflix money and dragging Canelo up to Heavyweight.

    He's not ready for Canelo
