Man, Vaughn is going at a ridiculous pace with so many fights scheduled. 6th fight in 12 months at his age is impressive.

 

14th bout in under 4 years.

Guess he's making up for lost time - lost to Bek in late 2019 a few months before the pandemic and sat out all of 2020 before starting this current 4-8-1 tear versus Zach Parker.

Damari Philson TKO1 Marlon Lewis (who's over twice his age, 19 and 41) in a scheduled 6-rounder at lightweight.

Giovanni Figueroa KO1 Rashad Malik Hicks in a featherweight 4-rounder.

Djibril Abdul Majid Diakite KO1 Jeremiah Elijah Robinson, six-rounder, super middle.

...and just now, Devin Parrish KO1 Khary Williams on a body shot in a welterweight 6-rounder.

Four contests, zero rounds completed.

 

Conja Nathan vs. Demonte Cherry, 4 rounds @ heavyweight

 

Demonte Cherry is 1-14 ...the victory and all fourteen losses coming by KO. (all but one in the first round)

 

Round 1

Cherry flurrying madly, driving Nathan into a corner. Nathan just letting him punch, remaining calm, throwing nothing back. All of a sudden, Nathan plugs a single left hook on the liver while still leaning against the turnbuckle and Cherry crumples and spits out his gum shield.

KO1!!

 

All five KO1s have come via body shots - pretty crazy.
