Maybe fun to watch but not good for the sport .

Canelo is elite , he can school paul like a helpless kid if he wants . If it goes closely to the distance we know its staged .

 

I think anyone thinking Canelo can end it anytime he wants is the casual. Paul can box at move at a good enough level to avoid being knocked out by a flat footed Canelo who is much smaller than him. You are acting like Paul is a youtuber, when in reality he is actually a legit boxer who has proven he can handle himself in a ring.

 

Yeah, I see Paul going the distance for sure.

Baptism of reality fire for paul, here, if this is serious and actually happens.

The age old cliché of a good big 'un beats a good little 'un is basically, very sound reasoning.


However, We've only got half of that full equation here, though.

If Canelo lands the left hook that dropped Berlanga or the uppercut that dropped Munguia then Paul is not getting up. Legit pro's who are much better than Jake Paul have been KO'd in the first round by fighters no where near as good as Canelo.

 

Thank you!! Tell this to @The Real Lance and many others who completely dismiss Jake, his skills and the massive size advantage he would have. And the fact that, as I said, Canelo has had more stamina problems when he's fought above 168 and put on weight.

 

Paul will be on his skates the whole fight and pot shotting like he did vs Tyson. He won't sit in the pocket like berlanga, he will do everything he can to go the distance. I think it be an ugly fight. You seem to assume Paul is going to go in there and real try to fight Canelo. I don't think so.

 

Paul's feet are terrible and you can call Canelo flat footed but he is an elite fighter not a 58 year old Tyson. If Canelo can walk down Rocky Fielding he can walk down a total bum like Jake Paul.

 

Fielding sat on the ropes. Paul runs around and keeps off the ropes, his movement is not that bad, Don't be surprised if just runs around for dear life.

 

Shame on Canelo man.. embarrassing.

 

Mate I think you are overrating Paul it's apples and oranges IMO so happy to agree to disagree.

 

P4P they’re probably around the same size and strength. Canelo is built like a little Neanderthal, very stocky and robust body frame. Paul has much more of a gracile homosapien build supplemented with weightlifting and excess calories.

 

A la Charlo??? Ok, you might be right!

 

Canelo couldn't beat a top ranked cw but he damn sure would beat Paul there. I like Paul he's got balls and backed up his tough talk amd actually got into the ring but he's getting stopped in this fight man.
