Wallin lasted all the rounds, could my compatriot do it too?

Much as I like Chisora, I think Hrgovic takes it by points.

Hrgovic beats him. He's got solid skills and I see him catching Chisora with short straight shots. Chisora is very open when he throws his jab.

I think someone like Chisora would be Hrgovic's worst nightmare... Hrgovic has shown mental frailty at the times in the ring... weird body language, like he doesn't want to be there, on more than one occasion. When it comes to Chisora, it doesn't matter how skilled you are, if you don't match him for mentality/determination, he will nullify you and make you look average. I could see Chisora bullying Hrgovic easy. Hrgovic would probably have a bit more success than Wallin did tonight, who was pathetic... I could see it being more like Chisora-Pulev 2.

The way Chisora did fight against Wallin I can see him take Hrgovic’s heart. I can see Chisora take Bakole’s heart as well.

What were you watching? It was nice to watch from Chisora but don’t get it twisted his current state only works against other washed fighters or no hopers like Wallin. Hrgovic would destroy him.

If Hrgovic actually wants it. If he doesn’t come to fight he is getting steamrolled.

Good fight. Hard to call going off their last performances.

Hrgovic is a big big step up from Wallin. Hrgovic has both skills and power and utilises his tall style quite well, however his heart is questionable. In boxing, styles make fights and I'm not too confident Hrgovic in this type of fight style-wise but Hrgovic on his best day has enough skill and power IMO to pull off a decision win here. It would be a very difficult fight nevertheless.

Unless Hrgovic has a bad cut, I don't think Hrgovic will just kind of like lean and stand back on the ropes and throw shots with no power or any sort of real timing like Wallin did. He will hurt Chisora and he will counter Chisora well, and get Chisora's respect even if Chisora keeps trying to bulldoze Hrgovic as it will be Chisora's last fight and he will give it everything, Hrgovic also has a point to prove surely.

Hrgovic by now should have gained a lot of experience and learnt a lot from the fights against Zhang and Dubois in which he has genuinely showed promise that he can mix it amongst that level at least.

Hrgovic would seriously hurt Chisora, he's so close to a serious brain injury at this point it's actually frightening every time he fights. His decline over the last few years is pretty noticeable, his quality of life as he ages is going to be poor.

Too many are getting excited based on Chisora's Ws vs. washed Joyce & little heart Wallin (unless he took a bribe to fake fight).
Hrgovic is a clear step up from Joyce/ Wallin.
Ppl have short memories that Filip was beating the current flavor DDD b4 sustaining some serious cuts - head butts or not.

Correct, I like Del Boy how can you not? But Hrgovic is on a completely different level to Wallin and Joyce at this point, his loss to Dubois really isn't that bad in hindsight. If he comes back he's a really tough fight for anyone in the division, a 41 year old washed Chisora who's displaying severe symptoms of CTE would be flattened badly.

I'm not as high on Hrgovic as some people in this thread yes he has a rock solid chin but he hasn't really shown much else outside of that at world level.

He basically beat Zhang based on tiring the old man out by taking a good shot which is his biggest strength, but i wasn't really impressed with him outside of that. He had moments where he looked away and looked distressed giving me Andrew Golota vibes in all honesty.

His performance vs Dubois wasn't that bad but he couldn't hurt Dubois at all despite landing multiple flush right hands, and it's not like Dubois has amazing durability Usyk stopped him via a jab. And Joshua had him on bambi legs with one right hand despite taking a pasting for much of the fight.

I think Chisora matches up reasonably well vs Hrgovic who's solid but hasn't got any stand out attributes in regards to power or speed or workrate. His biggest asset is his rock solid chin but at times he lacks fire in his belly when fighting and looks too casual and disinterested. So unless Hrgovic can hurt Chisora then he's going to be in for a rough fight against a fighter that will swarm all over him and not allow him to fight casually as he often likes to do.
