Filip Hrgovic vs. Derek Chisora

Not an easy fight for Chisora, Hrgovic for all his flaws knows how to land that right hand. Question is can Hrgovic hurt Chisora? Maybe not given how Dubois walked through everything and if Hrgovic hasn't fixed his lack of a gas tank, the pace Chisora will set may see Hrgovic gas out.

I see a similar fight to the Dubois/Hrgovic fight, it will be competitive with both having moments but the difference will be Chisora will want it more and be able to dig deeper and get the win, maybe by a late stoppage of a close decision. Which is bonkers considering one is prime and one is way, way past their prime.

 

When is Hrgovic fighting again anyways? If he wants to stay relevant.

 

Hrgovic struggles with points, partly because his gas tank is genuinely terrible and he hemorrhages rounds later on, so needs to be completely dominant early doors.

Chisora is pretty durable, for the most part, and I've not really seen the kind of power from Hrgovic that suggests he's anything like a sure thing to stop him.

This could be a tough night for both men - and considering how shot Chisora is, that should tell you how mediocre I rate Hrgovic... Prime Chisora would've ruined him.

 

Bakole throws great uppercuts with both hands and is very powerful. All wrong for Chisora at this stage.

 

Hrgovic on points in a competitive fight.

 

Everybody has been supposed to beat Chisora for years now. But somehow he keeps knocking over the apple cart like a raging bull on many occasions when they take him to the square.

 

Chisora fight with Joyce was pretty close imo. Hrgovic is/was better than Joyce imo. He is more dinamic and got quicker/harder punch. He got probably also if Dubois head punch dont destroy it stronger chin than Joe.

I see Filip winning this but end of the day I always underrated Chisora. Was sure that he lost some of his fights that he actually win.
Also I give massive credit for Hrgovic and he disapointed me in his most important fight with Dubois.

Soo with all this aspects I would said it is 60/40 fight for Croatian. But anyway Chisora dont need that fight soo its only speculations.
