Ali would have likely won had he been given more warm up fights. I wouldn't favor Frazier over the best version of Ali so I see the fight as an anomaly like Lewis Rahman or Tyson Douglas and not really representative of Fraziers ability

The win over Ali does put him over Corrales resume wise but I maintain you can't say he's better than Corrales based on one fight. And that's really all that separates them

All this is pointless you could say this about any fighter in history.

What about if Corrales hadn't spat his mouthpiece piece out twice vs Castillo and got stopped ?

What's the point of arguing about what ifs ?

Let's stick to reality Frazier has a better resume than Corrales end of and all this mental gymnastics about "what ifs" isn't going to change that.

I've avoided this thread and after skimming thru it quickly i can see why. NoNeck might be Mendoza's equal and there is no ESB accusation that could be more belittling.

Corrales was Floyd's best win. The same guy who had one of the best fights I've seen live against Castillo, who outworked Floyd in the first fight but got a B-side loss. Good but not great fighters, that is Floyd's best win. There is no comparison for anyone who knows anything about boxing.

Spinks (at least get his name right, he's not a misspelt Egypt artefact), is better than that list. What weight was Ali supposed to move up to from heavyweight? Ali fought in the single belt era. Remember that Floyd always fought in the multi-alphabelt era, fighting the easiest tomato can at each weight as set up by his crony promoters and never did he aim to become undisputed because there were fighters who would have beaten him.

Calling Guererro a good win is revisionist history in the order of saying Jake Paul beat the great Mike Tyson. The ghost was so past it and moving up in weight it was worse than Canelo fighting Jermell.

You know full well that Canelo had hardly fought anyone of note, and was not in his prime.

We’d respect you a lot more if you could just admit this.

    Another fine post.

When you have to start imagining fighters being the same size, you’ve already lost the argument a long time ago.

The only credit that I can give NoNeck, is that he takes beating after beating, but still keeps coming back.

    Ha!

    He’s a durable guy.

    A terrible, zero context post.

Do you know how ludicrous this reads, when you have Mike Tyson down as your GOAT.

    Ha!

    The irony.

    It’s utterly ridiculous.

    You couldn’t make it up.

It’s so ridiculous, we’re all left wondering if you’re trolling us for a joke.

    Don’t avoid it JT.

Take some LSD and jump in.

    It’s hilarious.

As well as No Neck, we’ve got the genius that is White Bomber here.

A man who thinks that Ali is overrated.

A man who believes that the 90’s was the strongest era in HW in history.

    AND……

A man who has Tyson as his GOAT at HW, who did NOTHING in that era that he believes to have been the strongest.

    Ha!

    What’s going on??
